By now most of the nation is aware of the tragedy in Zanesville, OH, where 56 wild animals were freed from their habitats by their owner prior to shooting himself. The animals included 18 rare Bengal tigers, monkeys, lions, and bears, as well as others. The photos of the 49 gorgeous…
Over the weekend, I was asked a question. Bold and blunt. (You know, some people the Lord gently reminds to keep their opinions to themselves and then there are those I believe He has to scream in their ear : Keep your trap shut! I verge on that sort of…
Last Friday my fourth grader, Michael, sure made his parents proud. His public school teacher called to let me know that Michael raised his hand during class because he did not think he should be listening to a particular story, Tuck Everlasting. While many Christians consider this fantasy story to…
It’s Monday. The day after the weekend. Wait, you knew that, didn’t you? My typical cleaning day. Love to sit down at the end of the day and breath that sigh of relief that says “I did it. This house is as clean as it gets.” But today I…
Rough night last night at the Woj house. Baby T must be teething. 🙁 Taylor decided to sing/yell half the night. The last good night’s sleep I had must have been at least a year ago. Or was it fifteen years ago? Want to know “where the wild things are”?…
Just now this sweet baby was sitting so nicely in her exersaucer. Sweet. Precious. Those big blue eyes that even tough men can’t resist. Not that Daddy is a tough guy. Well, he is…but. Ok, backed myself into the corner. Anyhoo, sweet baby T was sitting there so irresistibly that I…

A significant day. Not just “another” birthday. Number 15. When Taylor was given a diagnosis of MPSIIIB (mucopolysaccharidosis), with that diagnosis came a number to beat. The average life span is 10-15 years. Wikipedia labels it: Death by the second decade. So what do you do when your daughter has…
Life and pain are synonymous. Though full of joy, life is also pain and agony. Many times as Christians, we think or feel that we should be exempt from this topic. Kay Arthur approaches the hard questions in this book, “When the Hurt Runs Deep- Healing and Hope for Life’s Desperate…
Big fish. Whale. Jonah. We all know the story from childhood. But right now I’m in the second week of Priscilla Shirer‘s Bible study: Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted. Frankly, I think my entire adult life has been one series of interruptions after another. Many of you may feel the…
“I Still Believe” by Jeremy Camp begins with the author’s humble Indiana childhood and continues through his life to present day. This book will knock your socks off with its open view to the true picture of trusting God, even through grief and sorrow. The major focus of this book…
