What Next

Some days take on a shape all their own.

You schedule, prioritize, strategize, and synchronize.
In spite of your best efforts, the result:

foiled again.

Yesterday turned out to have its own shape.
I think I’ll call it:

polysquarecircaparallelogrammaticrhombus.

It had a least five sides, four at times. Occasionally they were round; at times slanted. Metamorphosis occurred a couple times and a chameleon with its color changes could not be any quicker than the process.

And the big question for awhile:

What next?

I truly believe that the worst thing you can do when you don’t know what to do is:

nothing.

Now perhaps you think differently, but when I do nothing, I get more of nothing done.  And if I’m already getting nothing accomplished, then I just added to the demise.  So my pile of nothing grows larger and scarier and I still don’t know what to do.

And at times I can be indecisive. (I think….)

In Hebrews 6:10-12, we are advised to work while we wait.

Not a big fan of waiting, how about you?

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

No doubt there is a time to be still and know that He is God.

But today I hear the whisper in my heart saying:

Child, go. Get up and go. Do. And I will guide you each step of the way.

One at a time.
