Hey there! Thanks for joining in for the True Love Bible Reading Challenge week 2 summary! I’m thrilled that you are reading along and some of you are Bible journaling along; isn’t it so cool to read God’s letter of love to us each day? Let’s check out the summaries from this week:
His love is with us continually. Directing by day and comforting by night. Isn’t it interesting that love directs? He doesn’t leave us to figure things out on our own. Oh, no. When we remain close to his love, we can hear his still small voice guiding us. He is good. His love is boundless!
1 John 4:7-13
He loved so we could live. He lives so we can live and love.
I John 4:14-20
He loved so we could live. He lives so we can live and love. We loved because he first loved us.
His love is both in the quiet and the loud. Isn’t that interesting to ponder? To be able to see his love in all his work is my goal today. Make it yours too? What a beautiful reminder of his #TrueLove to begin a new week!
He will bring your quiet with his love and delight in you with shouts of joy!
We tend to complicate it- this way of acting out our faith. Jesus didn’t say anything about one’s style, appearance, or agenda. He didn’t give a list- only love. Jesus, may we love those who cross our paths this day and may that love reflect you fully. Love with Christ-like love.
Love with Christ-like love.
When I was a child and accepted Christ as my Savior, my faith was simple and pure. But as I grew up, the burdens of this world brought me to a place of forgetting just how much God loves me. It took years before I allowed the beauty of God’s love sink into my soul. God loves you so very much! Not only did he give his life for you, but he redeems and restores the broken. “that Christ bath regarded my helpless estate and hath shed his own blood for my soul. it is well with my soul.” #TrueLove #biblereading #onemorestep
No matter what. He loves you; he loves me. God’s love is eternal, never-changing, steadfast.
What did you learn through the reading this week? I’d love to read about it today!
Happy Friday! Sorry it’s late in the day that I’m getting this posted. We began the day with early this morning with Taylor having a seizure; however, we are thankful, ever so thankful, that she had none for the last 5 months.
By his grace,
“Sometimes the Hope of the world wraps his arms around us and asks about our day. and we say, “It was okay.”But we don’t return his affection or attention; we avoid eye contact and move on to the next thing. One overwhelming attribute of God’s love is that it never fails. HE NEVER GIVES UP ON US! His love never runs out on me or you. You see, God wants our love, he doesn’t force it. He gives us the privilege to choose….” – One More Step
