A few weeks back, I stumbled across an ad with Beth Moore’s latest release, Whispers of Hope. At the time I had no idea that it was a devotional prayer journal. When I received the book, I was a bit astonished to see the words “10 Weeks of Devotional Prayer” as the subtitle.

God surely knew my heart- this book has been a much-needed prompt to keep my focus on daily prayer time. I’ve passed on a ton of prayer ideas, materials, and ways to keep journals to you over this year. The methods we’ve discussed throughout the year and all the ideas pinned to the Prayer Pinterest board are wonderful! But the reason I enjoy the variety of ideas and prayer plans is because…

When routine is turning into a rut, that’s when you need to change up your time with God.

And just to be perfectly honest with you, I had arrived at that point about six weeks ago. So I’m just so happy this book arrived right on time.

Whispers of Hope teaches the process of powerful Word-saturated prayer in response to a daily Bible reading. In turn, you will better understand how devotional reading and prayer are central to a stronger relationship with God.

Amen.

  1. Thanks for reminding about this book. I have had it on my Kindle but hadn’t started it. Prayer life is one of my biggest failures. I’m never sure of the “right way” to pray. I started it this morning and am excited to see where it leads me. I love Beth Moore!
I also love what I find of yours. I found you on Pinterest and have started reading your blogs. Your prayers and blog posts are very inspiring to me and give me a direction.
    God bless

  2. This sounds like a great book! I’ve done several Bible Studies by Beth Moore, and once heard her speak in person. I love how she relates to the Lord, and how she passes on her very practical knowledge. I’d love to learn how to improve my prayer life.

    GOD BLESS!

  5. Been feeling overwhelmed with so many things going on in my life and being more silent with what to even pray for the many situations with family and friends. This could be a good resource to help articulate what I have been struggling to say. I like Beth Moore, what she has taught me and she was the person who first introduced me to praying the Word.

Rachel, I am very glad to hear this helped you in your prayers.

    Blessings,

    Joanne
