Praying through Life’s Battles Part 3 Bible Reading Challenge: For the Winning
Welcome to the Praying through Life’s Battles Part 3 Bible reading challenge!
Thanks for being here! I’m so glad you’ve stayed with me!
In Part 1, we sat with the weariness and remembered who God is. In Part 2, we stepped into the warring season and reflected on what God has done. We learned that praise becomes a weapon that turns worry into worship.
Now we look ahead to Part 3: For the Winning. Winning doesn’t always mean the battle ends the way we hoped or on the timeline we wanted. It means we stand on what God has promised. He goes before us. He provides on the mountain. He restores the years the locusts have eaten. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. And when the last word is written, not one of His good promises will fail.
That’s where we’ll finish this challenge, with Joshua 21:45 on Day 90. The truth my daughter Taylor memorized when she was little still holds: the battle is the Lord’s. Over the next 30 days, we’ll spend time in the Scriptures behind Part 3 of Praying through Life’s Battles, Days 61 through 90.
New here or missed Parts 1 and 2?
Jump right in with Day 61(Exodus 14:13).
You don’t need to have done Parts 1 and 2 first. The days are numbered 61 to 90 so they line up with the devotions in the book. If you’re reading along, just open to Day 61 and start there.
If you want to go back and catch up later, you’ll find Part 1: For the Weary here and Part 2: For the Warring here.
Bible Reading Challenge
Introduction
Each month I host a Bible reading plan and journal challenge to help our community enjoy reading God’s Word together and encourage our hearts to be faithful to Him. Together, we have completed over 35 Bible reading plans, including both annual and monthly reading challenges. I’ve developed all sorts of strategies to help us read God’s word faithfully and there is nothing like this monthly system we are working through together.

Friend, whatever you’re fighting right now, you don’t fight it alone. Let’s open God’s Word together and let Him remind us who goes before us. Lord, You are the One who gives us the victory. When we can’t see how this battle will end, help us trust that You already know. Teach us to stand on Your promises and not on our circumstances. Thank You that not one of Your good promises will fail. In Jesus’ name, amen. Ready? We’ll begin November 1st, just as we do each month!
By His grace,
Rachel
