Welcome to the Never Alone Bible Reading Challenge Week 4 Summary! Here we are at the final week of review for the September Bible reading plan and journal challenge. I know I always say it, but time surely does fly. I pray that this Bible reading plan has been as wonderful for you as it has for me! I truly enjoyed the “reset” to routine in the month of September and am looking forward to all God has for our community  through the No Fear Bible Reading challenge for October. If this is your first time visiting, each month I host a Bible reading challenge and each week we take a peek back at what we read in order to retain it. Let’s wrap up the Never Alone plan, shall we?

2 Chronicles 32:1-8

The wording here is so powerful. God is fighting the battle for me. For you. And while he’s fighting it, he is with us every moment. He’s never gonna let you down.

The wording here is so powerful. God is fighting the battle for me. For you. And while he’s fighting it, he is with us every moment. He’s never gonna let you down. Sounds like a definite verse for Monday! Have a great day! #neveralone#neveralonejournal #biblereadingplan#biblereading

Deuteronomy 4:29-40

Maybe the forsaking happened long before the leaving. The rejection was so painful that you still carry the battle within, fearing that someone else in your life will leave you too. Then the enemy swoops into that thought pattern and shakes it in your face, telling you that you are alone. He is the biggest liar. God’s Word promises is that we are never alone.

Then the enemy swoops into that thought pattern and shakes it in your face, telling you that you are alone. He is the biggest liar. God’s Word promises is that we are never alone. That our God will never leave us to fight our battles alone. He will never abandon our relationship with him. Oh no! Quite the contrary. Your God loves you so very much, loves me so very much, that he is continually chasing after us, pursuing us with his love. If you’re feeling lonely on your path of life today, God is with you. Hold on to His promises. #neveralonejournal #biblereadingplan#biblereading

1 Kings 8:54-61

Father, my soul echoes the wisdom of Solomon this morning. There is not one promise of your word that you haven’t kept. You are as present today in our lives as you were in ancient days.

Father, my soul echoes the wisdom of Solomon this morning. There is not one promise of your word that you haven’t kept. You are as present today in our lives as you were in ancient days. Incline my heart to your way this morning. Guide me to walk in your way today. Let my thoughts ring true of your love and my words reflect the knowledge of your presence. For you are with me. Amen.

Psalm 16:1-11

In his presence. On the good days and bad, happy and sad, joy can always be discovered when we go to him. Run to him. Sit at his feet; spend time in His Word. Have a thriving Thursday knowing God is with you, guiding you!

Zephaniah 3:14-20

Last night I prayed over our precious Taylor once again. At this stage of her disease, the doctors are really unsure. For 18 years, we’ve heard the words “no cure and no treatment”, but it was never more real to me than yesterday. It’s promises like this one from God’s Word that remind me of his steadfast love and it quiets my heart. Without his love in the midst of suffering, I don’t know how we would make it through. Wherever you are today, I pray you are close enough to Him to hear him singing over you. Like a mama sings lullabies over her newborn baby, he longs for his melodies to soothe your heart and soul. In a world of trouble and turmoil, his love conquers all. He doesn’t just show his love to you. He doesn’t just come alongside you. No, he surrounds you, fully encompassing you with his love. I felt that when I prayed for my girl last night. So thankful this morning that we are never alone. #neveralonejournal#biblereadingplan #biblereading
