bible reading challenge day 220
It was a dark stormy night.

On top of that, we were camping deep in the woods of WV. Granted we slept in a cabin and not a tent. But that didn’t deter the snakes from crawling all over the walls of that log interior. It did prevent sleeping well since a hoe had to be kept close by, just in case a snake decided to sliver in and snuggle close to your sleeping bag.

Can I just stop right there to tell you that I am NOT a camper?

I mean, I’ve got some great camping stories, but they are all from the time I was under age 18. So it’s been QUITE a while since I’ve been camping.

Because I sincerely believe that God created Benjamin Franklin with the clear knowledge that electricity would be a good thing. I also believe that Thomas Edison was given a gift of the light bulb by the Almighty Creator. And frankly, I am just.so.very.glad.

Just in case you are wondering, I like running water. Now, I can do without it if I have to. And I won’t complain. But I don’t typically choose to. As if you were wondering that by now.

However, though I am not a camper, I do LOVE being outdoors. I love to learn about the Creator of the Universe through His creation and my children do too. I just know you will think they are super-spiritual when I tell you that they have been arguing about who gets to keep our copy of this Bible. Ahem.

nature bible

You can see why I am excited to present this awesome Nature Bible review and giveaway to you today from Tommy Nelson!

I absolutely LOVE giving Bibles away. And this Bible is quite unique in that it is perfect for outdoor adventures. With a zippered cloth cover, I can see a boy who loves his nature hikes pouring over the 24 pages of full-color inserts. I’m imagining a campfire-lit devotion with long talks into the night about the wonders of God’s creation. This Bible could also be the ideal gift for a sweet girl who loves her scout troop and enjoys an early breakfast cooked over a fire by the lake.

Perfectly-sized for backpacks, this International Children’s Bible is practical and beautiful.

So whether you enjoy singing KumBaYah or the Hallelujah Chorus, you can enter to win this Bible for your child or student or grandchild or the Grand Scoutmaster down the street!

The awesome thing about God’s Word is that it applies no matter where in the world you read it.

If you’d like to order this Bible, you may do so here: Nature Bible.
