Some days my fingers give wings to words faster than I can speak them…and today I celebrate this.  Because today is my husband’s birthday, and we, our family, celebrate HIM.

We celebrate the day he was born because of his unique individuality and incredible God-given talent.

We celebrate the way our children run to greet him at the door every time he arrives home.   There’s no one like Daddy.

We celebrate every year he has been given the gift of life; for those years were used by God to mold his character into the gift he is to us, to me.  We reap the benefits of his life lessons, living grace and mercy outwardly as it is lived inwardly.

We celebrate his heart for God and others.  There is none as mammoth.

We celebrate his passionate desire to follow God and serve Him. The depth of which cannot be described.

We celebrate his love for our family and faithful commitment to be the spiritual leader of our home.  His foundational guidance is crucial to our existence.

We celebrate the future God has in store, trusting every detail to His plans for us.

To My Man:

God sure knows how to match and mesh lives together; ours just couldn’t be any sweeter, any fuller, or any better.  Though my words fail to display the full meaning of just how crazy wonderful the celebration of your life is to me, you know my heart and I love you beyond words.

Happy Birthday, My Matthew!

XO

(PS: Sorry, readers, the hugs and kisses are his. ;0) )

That is a wonderful expression of your love for your husband. It is very important to celebrate the birthdays of those we love.

My husband’s 50th will be at the end of August and we look forward to celebrating that.
