Thank You

Thank you so very much for a wonderful year! Before Christmas arrives, I wanted to briefly share a Merry Christmas greeting with all of you and provide an Bible reading challenge update.

You have been an incredible source of encouragement and inspiration to me, especially since the October launch of my first traditionally published book, One More Step. I can’t thank you enough for all the notes, cards, emails, and social media messages you have sent! I asked permission just to share a few of the recent notes that readers have sent to me.

Rachel, I have been a part of many studies and by far this has been one of my favorites. Your soul-bearing openness and transparency have been so evident through your writing and appreciated by this sister. Connecting with an author isn’t something I do easily but I found myself nodding and saying, “me too!” throughout this study. This is definitely a refer-back-to book even after this study ends! Thank you for writing from your heart and from your hurts. But thank you mostly for writing from your hope and sharing that Hope with us as we take our “one more step”. Dianna

Rachel, you are a true inspiration and blessing to us all! Your book and words of wisdom has enriched my life and taught me not too think of me me me but reach out to others and this helps me grow closer to God. I have never prayed and talked to God as much as I have in the last few weeks. May your xmas be blessed and bright because in my eyes you are all things right! Dionne

I have enjoyed your book and learned so much. It has definitely given me insight into ME and how I can better cope with life things. I’ve been encouraged to help others by praying, lending a hand as needed and most of all to love them. It has taught me that I *have* to make prayer and Bible study a habit so that I am in the Word and talking to God every day. I have also been encouraged to reach out to others more when I need help and not try to do everything myself. I pray that I can take the words I’ve read and use them in my life to aid me as I grow closer to God. Thank you so much for your wisdom and willingness to share your life with all who read your book. I will definitely recommend the book to everyone who needs to look outside of themselves and grow closer to our Lord. Cheryl

So you can see just one of the reasons why I’m so incredibly grateful for you. As I told these women, I constantly remind myself that I write and speak out of obedience to God’s call, but it surely is a beautiful thing when he provides confirmation through readers!!

Bible Reading Challenge

Normally we conclude our Bible reading challenge each Friday. Because the next two Fridays are holidays, I will post the Light Bible reading challenge summary on 12/31/15, the last day of the challenge.

I can’t wait to share all the details of the January Bible reading challenge with you!! The new topical Bible reading plan will post just after Christmas and I just know you’re going to LOVE it!!

And I’m really forward to next year and some of the incredible tools and resources I will be providing to help you grow your faith and enjoy keeping your relationship with God fresh!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything. For your prayers for Taylor, for our entire family, and for me.

May the peace of God rule your hearts this season.

Much love,

Rachel

    Dear Rachel
Thank you so much for being a lovely servant of God and sharing your life with all of us. I have enjoyed you so much and of course the bible readings. I just love your journal illustrations and have bought the journal bible you recommend and the pencils and pens. I am ready to start my journaling and my art illustrations. This has been what I have been looking for for so long. So my heartfelt thanks for your giving me encouragement. May you and your family have a lovely Christmas. Greetings from New Zealand.

Dear Rachel, I have never written to an author like this before, but you have become much more than that. I have been, and am, going through the hardest time of my life. You have helped me so much through the words of One More Step (which arrived weeks before it should have and exactly when I needed it most) and through the Bible challenge. Thankyou so much for sharing. I have felt closer to God during this awful time than ever before. God bless you and your family especially at Christmas, you are in my prayers everyday. Carolyn

Merry Christmas to you and family. Your bible journaling has allowed me to desire his word more and to allow myself to be who I was created to be and to draw and color as a child of God….
It has aloud the doubts of the enemies lies to cease and to overcome a fear to be me❤️
    Thank you!
