Welcome to the Magnificent Power July Bible reading challenge week 2 summary! If this is your first time here, welcome! Each month I host a Bible reading challenge here on the blog and each week we take a glance back at the previous week of Scriptures in order to retain the concepts we’re learning. This month’s challenge is all about recognizing God is bigger than anything we’re facing or will face. Wow, the passages are definitely spurring us on to realize the power of God and our inability to wrap our heads around it. Let’s take a moment to review, ready?
Dear Father, You are all-powerful and I trust in You. Help me remember that trusting in others to do what only You can do is pointless. Help me remember that humans are limited and all our abilities come from You. Let me never imagine that anything but Your plan is best for me. You know my heart. May I honor You alone today. #biblereadingplan#godisbiggerjournal
Dear Father, thank you for being the one true God and everlasting King. Thank you for ruling and reigning on high and today I’m asking that you would help me to remember that You are ever in control. You created this world and you’ve never left it alone. You’ve established time and seasons and schedules by your wisdom. So Jesus, today I’m asking for help to embrace your plan right where I am. I know you created the heavens and I’m asking you to help me look to you for each step today. Amen. #biblereadingplan #godisbiggerjournal
I’ve been thinking about this tree. Because without the fiery sky behind it, I’m not sure that I would have noticed how gorgeous it is. I doubt that my husband would have stopped to take a pic if it weren’t for the storm clouds. Maybe the storm hovering over you or the fire lighting up your life is exactly what God wants to use to show off His beauty in and through you. Just like this tree. #praisehimanyway#preachingtomyownheart#godisbiggerjournal
Not one thing. Healing your heart? He’s more than able. Providing a job? He’s got it all under control. Touching your loved one? He can do it. Cancer. Heart disease. Addiction. Personality disorders. Depression. Mental illness. Emotional scars. Whatever it is today, I hope you can remember that not a single thing is too hard for your God! #godisbiggerjournal#biblereadingplan
God, you are worthy of all of the praise we can offer. Creation praises You. May my ears be sharp enough to hear it. May my eyes be focused enough to see it. May my heart receive and give all the glory to You and this prayer continually flow throughout the moments of this day. Amen. #godisbiggerjournal #biblereadingplan
Father, tune my heart to sing your praise today. For Your eternal power and divine nature always supersedes the cares of this world. One step in your creation reveals your awesome power and attention to details. Focus my heart on the ability to recognize your presence and your work. Amen. #godisbiggerjournal #biblereadingplan

I usually try to post these reviews on Fridays or Mondays, but wow, what a busy summer it is with my children all home. We are trying to make the most of our quality time together. Many blessings to you as we continue through this Bible reading plan!
By his grace,
