bible reading challenge day 109

So I know the title of “Hodge Podge” tells you precisely what this post is about. 😉  I’ve got three very important points to give you- so don’t miss out!

First, congratulations Bible Challenge Readers! You are courageous, full of tenacity , encouraging and loved by God. And that’s even on a bad day. 🙂 I’m so excited we’ve made it this far and since it’s Friday, we’re checking in like we do each week. Let’s keep one another encouraged!

Secondly, I need to ask you to pray for me today. I’m headed to an incredible event in Kokomo, IN- ch@t! where faith and technology connect. IBlush.org is the non-profit organization behind this event for girls grade 3-8 and I am so privileged to speak at Crossroads Community Church tonight. Would love to know that you are praying for the girls attending and that God would direct every moment of this event as we discover how to balance faith, relationships, and social media.

And lastly, I’m so honored to be a guest of Renee Swope and “A Confident Heart”online Bible study today. Renee Swope is Proverbs 31 Ministries’ Executive Director of Radio and Devotions. She is a conference speaker, co-host of Proverbs 31 Ministries’ radio program, and author of “A Confident Heart.” Please stop over and say hello as she shares my story on her site!

Would love to hear from you today in the comments!

  4. Nancy Miller says:

Praying for the girls, and for the message God has for them through you, Rachel.
And for those who might be fearful or anxious today, run to the scriptures! God gave us the scripture for truth, comfort, and exhortation to name a few. My pastor shared Wednesday night where to find help for the fear and anxiety from the current events and times we live in. And a warning to guard your eyes and heart;,use a godly filter when watching the news and not to let the news cause anxiety. It was such a needed reminder for me as I remember being in Manhattan during 9/11 and stuck in a hotel alone for days after. So I say again RUN to the SCRIPTURE for any that have fear or anxiety in any situation. God is waiting! Love you all and praying. Psalm 46

  5. Praying for everyone attending this special event. May He give you the words to touch the hearts of the girls attending. My they feel the presence of God, and seek to invite him into every part of their hearts!
