Happy Thanksgiving

Thanks for reading the blog and all the great participation around the year! I couldn’t let the day go by without letting you know how very grateful I am for each of you who read and encourage on this site. This year, I’m so very thankful that God has blessed this little place in cyberspace and it’s grown in reach more than ever; He is gracious!

In reflecting on Thanksgiving tonight as I placed the last apple pie in the oven, I thought about how if we really are thankful, we won’t just talk about it one day a year. We will practice giving thanks each day. So I wasn’t sure if this thought is something I heard growing up or read somewhere along life’s way. I googled it and in November last year, Ann Voskamp used the same terminology in a blog post, “When Thanksgiving Becomes Thanksliving.” So the thought wasn’t unique, but the message is vital. I’m going to do my best to show the ones God has placed under my care that I want to give my thanks to God and them today. Living it every day to them is the challenge.
Mind if we keep encouraging one another along the way?
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving day!

Thanksgiving is Thanks-living
