Mark me as tardy. Today’s post was due on Friday to wrap up last week’s Confident Trust Bible reading plan week 2 summary. I missed a deadline and have several projects that are running behind, so I’m tempted to feel overwhelmed. I am loving this plan and journal SO MUCH! Ready?

John 14:11-21

Whoever believes IN me. Jesus knew that his time on earth was short and coming to a close. But his encouragement to the disciples was to continue the work on earth beyond what he did. What has he called you to do? Trust that he is going to complete it in you! He promises it. #biblereading#biblereadingplan #confidenttrustjournal

John 14:22-31

He never leaves us alone. This is one more way we know we can trust him- through the Holy Spirit as he speaks to our hearts and lives through us. What height of love; what depths of peace! Make Sunday a day that counts for eternity. #confidenttrustjournal #biblereading#biblereadingplan

He promised to buy back what he rightfully owned and so he paid the price for sin. The sin of all mankind. Mine and yours. We, the creation of God, can stand before him as Holy and blameless, enjoying the renewed fellowship we've always longed for. Our God more than deserves to have our confident trust. #confidenttrustjournal #biblereading#trustinggod

Psalm 46:1-11

He never leaves us alone. This is one more way Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam... I can't think of a better way to begin Monday than with this passage from the #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan . No matter what comes your way today, you can trust God that he will not change through it all. Makes me want to preach!! ?? #biblereading

Psalm 118:1-13

I believe we know this verse in our heads, but we have a hard time acting on it with our hearts. Our own ideas or someone else's opinion seems much more tangible and logical than trusting God. And so we fail to trust that the One who gave his all loves us so much that he provides all we need. Jesus, may this day be a trusting Tuesday when we lay it all down at your feet again. #confidenttrustjournal #biblereading#biblereadingplan

Out of my distress, I called on the Lord, the Lord answered me and SET ME FREE! No temptation or trial is too tough for my Jesus. He triumphed over death and the grave!! If he who lives in me is greater than he who lives in the world and if the Lord is on my side, who or what am I going to fear??? #confidenttrustjournal #biblereadingplan#biblereading

Psalm 118:14-29

Our God created this very day from beginning to end. He is orchestrating every minute, handling every second, and monitoring every moment. There is nothing that has happened or will happen that He can't make into our good and His glory! Take that, Wednesday. #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan #biblereading

Proverbs 30:1-9

Thank you, Lord, for being my refuge and my shield. In a world of sin and shame, thank you for taking on my sin and shame. In a world of death, you bring life. In a world of darkness, you bring light. In a world of sorrow, you bring joy. How can my heart fail to trust in you and you alone? Forgive me, Jesus. #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan #biblereading

  1. Thank you for this months reading. The hardest thing is for me to let go and let God be in control. I need to totally trust him to be my rock and shield. I ask for all your prayers to help me learn this trait and increase my Faith through the journey.
