Hey there! Monday already? Where does the week go? By now, you know what Monday means- it’s time to check in for the Bible reading challenge. Just in case you are having any struggles to read the Bible each day (and sometimes, it is very challenging, I’ll admit!), then I wanted to encourage you today.

You are a child of the most high God.

There is only one of you in the whole wide world,

You are a unique creation.

And only you can do the job God has for you.

His plan for you is far greater than anything you can imagine.

His love for you exceeds your comprehension.

His strength is more than enough for your weakness.

Through him, you can do anything.

Anything?

Yes, anything he gives you to do.

There is nothing that he cannot handle;

Your burdens are his.

So take them to him and leave them there,

All the while recognizing that

You are a child of the most high God.

I pray this reminder floods your heart and fills your soul today.

I pray this reminder floods your heart and fills your soul today.

How’s your Bible reading going? I’d love to read about it! Let me know how you’re doing in the comments and I’ll see you tomorrow!

  1. Amen! Rachel…flooding and filling my soul this very moment! I am going to journal this prayer. I was blessed with the most beautiful weekend. Hiking in the woods on an unusually beautiful fall day yesterday with my 2 1/2 year old grandson Shamus yesterday, last night babysitting for him and my almost 3 year old granddaughter Eden (whom I hadn’t seen until recently for a year because my other daughter was angry with Tara… Andrew’s mom).
Today, Tara and I took Andrew to a classmate’s birthday party…a first. We walked over and the family helped with his wheelchair, had already made room. He loved it! We all had fun! I followed that with a late Sunday Mass and was just praising God for this weekend. Got home to my other house to find my roommate drunk and unruly. Kept it together for all of 5 minutes and lost it…my patience I mean. Anyway, this feeling of disappointing my Father God, my Jesus… consumed me. Headed right up to quiet time, pouring my heart out…seeking His help in surrenderin that of which i have no control…and now I read your prayer! God’s perfect timing! Thank you for the encouragement you share through all of your prayers!
Still reading my Bible almost every day…just not in any order. I think I need to start in 2015 with the dedication to read through…

    1. Bless you, Mary. God is good, even in all the rough circumstances. So proud of you for continuing to read, even in the hard places of life and my prayers are with you today!

I have actually started reading the book of Proverbs. Figured if I broke it down into a chapter a day, I could do it. It’s slow going but going.

    1. You go! That’s a great plan and very doable. Keep going, Girl. Hope you have a great week.
