Bible Reading Challenge Check-In

bible sample wide
Hey there! Monday has arrived once again and I’m so glad to see you here at the weekly Bible reading challenge check-in. I’m still plugging away at my goal of reading through the Bible this year via the M’Cheyne reading plan, but I’m a little behind. Just about the same as last week. However, I am travelling this week and feel hopeful that I’ll have some extra reading time to get things back on track.

Last week was a tough week for our family. I’m going to follow up this Bible reading challenge check-in post with a little family news and a great children’s book giveaway. Before I do though, I wanted to give our check-in time its own space. This way everyone who wants to participate in having a weekly accountability for their personal Bible reading can feel encouraged to take a moment and let us know how you’re doing.

Remember that the goal is to spend time with the Lord and enjoy it!

Have a marvelous Monday!

Yes, yes, back on track as of today! Looks as if everyone is busy, busy, busy. Praying for all of us to draw closer to God through our readings.

  2. after a much technology problem with my Kindle I am behind. So I plan to buckle down this week and catch up on my reading plan on my laptop. sometimes I love technology, other days I don’t

  3. catherine says:

I’ve not been doing well with the daily reading at all. I won’t offer excuses, just confession that I haven’t spent the time with God and His word that I should, and assertion that I will strive to do better.

  4. Denise Skinner says:

Stopped worrying about where I was in the plan; rather than skip ahead, I am just spending time every morning reading in the Old and New Testament. May not get the Bible read entirely this year but have the habit of daily time in the Word and in prayer established.

  5. Heather P says:

Still on track and keeping with the changes I made. I am now on my second trek through the gospels and Psalms. Have a great week!!
