Bible Reading Challenge Check-In

bible sample wide

Hey there! Monday is here and it’s time for the Bible Reading Challenge check-in. How is your reading coming along?

This summer has been a busy one for our family and if your schedule has been anything like ours, any reading has been a bit of a challenge. We have tried to make the most of rainy days in order to even things out a bit. The travelling I did last week certainly helped out in my personal reading department. I was able to catch up on the Bible Reading Challenge and finished two books from my summer list. I highly recommend both of them: On Writing Well and The Color of Rain.

So I’m glad to be able to tell you after spending the entire spring and beginning of summer way behind on the Bible Reading Challenge, I finally made it up to date.  Can I encourage you that even if you don’t meet the goal of reading through the Bible this year, you can still meet with Jesus each day and THAT is the purpose of the challenge, right?

I’d love to hear from you; how are things going in your corner of the world?

Blessings on your day today,

  1. I am doing great. Somethings resonate with me more now than when I read them a while ago. Which I love. The Bible is the only book you can read and read and read again and see it with new eyes. I love that.

How awesome that you got caught up and were able to read two of your books. Thanks for these check ins. It gives me that push I need and it keeps me accountable.

  2. Thanks so much for the encouragement-I am behind-WAY BEHIND-LOL! Honestly, I was thinking of giving up on the challenge until I read your post Rachel…welcome back, by the way!

  3. Linda in Maryville says:

Oh, this past month of June was really busy and because of it I am now trying to catch up. I have not posted as I could not even get to my computer through my provider during June! It was awful to come home to many, many emails!
I should be totally caught up by the next posting. Loving the time in His Word. God Bless All.
