Jeremiah 10:10-16
Praise the Lord for his awesome power! For he alone is worthy of our glory. His power made the earth. His wisdom founded the world. His understanding formed the heavens. It’s never been so easy to convince ourselves that we, as humans, are right and we have a platform that says so. This morning I was personally reminded that, truth is, my opinion doesn’t matter one iota. (I don’t even know what an iota is but my mom used to use that word and it fits. ?) My measurement for truth must always be God’s Word. For everything. You are empowered as a child of God to do what He called you to do. Doesn’t matter if it is scrubbing floors, changing diapers, answering phones, washing dishes, sending emails… no matter the task, His power is at work in us! 1 Corinthians 2:1-8
Yes. If we can learn just to rest our faith in Him. Place our faith where it belongs. Not in our possession, but resting in the power of God. September only had 30 days, but this year, I’ve created every Bible reading plan with 31 days of reading so that it can be used for ANY month. You don’t have to be following along a challenge to use these plans; you can use one on your own at any time!
My prayer is that you continue to read God’s Word for yourself, growing in your faith and drawing closer and closer in your relationship with Jesus. It’s not too late to join in for October!
