Welcome to the With Thanksgiving Bible reading summary week 2! I’m so glad that you are here and that you long to make reading God’s Word a priority in your life. Today we’re summarizing the second week of this month’s Bible reading plan. I appreciate how it is keeping me focused on being thankful this season. Let’s check out the readings for the week!
Psalm 145:1-10
He is good. For this we can give thanks!! #withthanksgiving #biblereading
Psalm 105:1-7
Make known his deeds among the people. You know what God has done in my life? Saved me. Turned me around from a life of poor decisions and grounded me in his word. He has directed me when I had no clue which way to go. Provided when I was below my last penny. Loved me beyond all reason. He has lifted me when I was down and humbled me in the best of ways. What hasn’t God done in my life? He is my all in all. What has God done in your life that you can tell someone about today? #withthanksgiving #biblereading
Psalm 95:1-6
Thankful even for Mondays. It’s going to be a great day! #withthanksgiving #biblereading
Psalm 136:1-9
He is Lord and he is good. He is God of all gods and he is good. He is Lord of lords and he is good. No matter what this day holds, we can give thanks! #withthanksgiving #biblereading
Ephesians 5:15-21
Today’s #biblereading for the #withthanksgiving challenge causes me to begin to meditate on unity and it’s purpose. “Out of reverence for Christ.” A standard to which we can align our words and actions.
Psalm 107:1-9
“Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.” This was me many years ago. I had wandered away from God’s Word and yes, my soul was ready to faint. There have been many times since that my soul has been ready to faint and I’ve cried to the Lord in my distress. Thanking him for his deliverance today! #withthanksgiving #biblereading
Psalm 107:10-21
God woke you up this morning and gave you the gift of Friday! Soak it up and thank him for all it will hold. #withthanksgiving #biblereading
Alright, Friends. That sums up the reading for week 2. I hope you are as inspired as I am to continue on this With Thanksgiving Bible Reading journey! Blessings on your weekend!
By his grace,
Rachel

I really loved how you shared what God has done in your life. I would say the first thing He has done for me
is Redeem my life from the pit. He has set my feet upon a rock, and He is that Rock that is constant and unchanging. He is forever faithful to His word and to his children. He has placed a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to my God. He has made all things new and I am forever grateful. Have a blessed Thanksgiving with your family. I am reading along with your Thanksgiving Bible Reading Challenge this month. :O)
love it!
