Welcome to the final summary for the June Bible reading challenge! Last month, we covered the Soul Secure Bible reading plan & journal with the central theme of winning over worry through God’s Word. While we read one passage each day, collecting thoughts on the passage at the end of the week is a great way to stay focused on what God has for us. So let’s wrap up the final weekly summary for this plan; here’s the Soul Secure Bible Reading Challenge Week 4 Summary.
Psalm 73:21-28
Why worry about circumstances outside of my control? Why worry about potential problems? Whatever comes my way, his strength will be more than enough. Christ is all I need. #biblereadingplan #winningoverworry #soulsecurejournal #biblereading
Psalm 18:1-13
In my worry, in my panic, in my fear, let it always be said that I cry to the Lord. “I want prayer to be my first response, not my last resort.” -One More Step #soulsecurejournal #biblereading #winningoverworry #biblereadingplan
Psalm 18:14-29
When bad things happen to good people, then the enemy uses worry, fear and doubt to confront us. But the Lord doesn’t walk away from us on the dark days when we are fighting worry. He is still right there with us, never leaving us. Rescuing us because he delights in us. So grateful! #soulsecurejournal #biblereadingplan #winningoverworry #biblereading
Psalm 18:30-39
Worry makes us peer over the edge and wonder if our God really has it all under control. It makes us wish for ropes to tie around our waist or handles to hold on to. But the God who holds the whole world in his hands has a tight grip on me and you. There is no height that he does not make Secure! Have a terrific Tuesday free from fretting and filled with faith! #winningoverworry #biblereadingplan #biblereading #soulsecurejournal
Psalm 18:40-50
Some seasons of life require simple thoughts. Mine for today is that the Lord is my Rock and I will not worry or fret the storms. Have a wonderful Wednesday! #soulsecurejournal #biblereading #biblereadingplan #winningoverworry
Psalm 25:1-10
Winning over worry means we have to train our thoughts and know God’s ways. Today in place of worried thoughts, I want to ask him to teach me. His ways. His paths. His truth. #soulsecurejournal #biblereadingplan #winningoverworry #biblereading
Psalm 25:11-22
His soul shall abide in worry? Nope. His soul shall abide in WELL-BEING. Happy Friday! #soulsecurejournal #biblereadingplan #winningoverworry #biblereading
Psalm 19:1-14
** Because there were only 30 days in June, we did not cover this passage for this month. But since January, I’ve been creating the Bible reading plans & journals to cover 31 days so that they can be used for any month, at any time, as God leads.
Thank you so much for joining me on this walk through winning over worry with God’s Word. I pray that you discovered a newfound security through believing that God is in control! Oh how much he loves us.
Be sure to join in the July Bible reading challenge if you haven’t already. You’ll find the details listed in the resource section below. Blessings to you!
