Friday already! Wow and yes, September has ended; we completed the Never Alone Bible reading plan. Do you believe God is with you and did you enjoy the daily reminders from his Word that he is always with us? I sure did. Let’s check out the Never alone Bible reading summary week 4!
2 Chronicles 32:1-8
Verse 39 says” And the people took confidence from the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.” Do you see it? One of the reasons we read God’s Word every day is to be reminded of his promises. This then fuels our confidence to go forward in his work! Got an obstacle that is threatening your forward movement for the Lord? Turn to His Word to remember that HE who is with us is GREATER than he who is against us. #biblereading#neveralone
Deuteronomy 4:29-40
If you know nothing else today, know this. If you let everything go over your head today, make an exception and let this go to your heart. There is no god like our God. He is in heaven and on earth. His throne rules and reigns the heavens and yet he lives within our hearts. This God is the God who is with you. So act like it.#preachingtomyself #neveralone#biblereading
1 Kings 8:54-61
Solomon had finished praying and now spoke to the people. His heart reflects in his words; he longed for the people to know that their God was with them in the past and would continue to be with them. Let’s hold on to this same promise today! #neveralone #biblereading
Psalm 16:1-11
You never know what a day will hold. But if you wake up and know He Is With You? No matter what comes your way, you will not be shaken. Have a terrific Tuesday! #neveralone #biblereading
Zephaniah 3:14-20
It’s early and already some news has arrived that is not what I anticipated. It stings and hurts. I’m so thankful for the hope of Scripture. Just as God did for the Israelites, so does he rejoice, quiet, and exult over us. Whatever we need, he is with us. #neveralone#biblereading
1 John 3:18-24
Abide. To stay with, continue, remain in or close to. God is always with us but when we obey and abide, His presence is much sweeter and more real to our hearts. Have a thriving (and abiding) Thursday! #neveralone #bibleverse
Psalm 72:12-20
Today’s the last day of the#neveralone #biblereading plan! I pray that the month has filled you with the reassurance that God is always with you. The verse from today’s reading that stood out to me was “Blessed be his glorious name forever;
may the whole earth be filled with his glory!” Today the whole earth includes Michigan, which is where I am to teach a ladies’ retreat! You never know where God will take you when you take him at his Word! Have a fab Friday!
Ministry Update
Alright Friends! I’m a *little* late posting the final summary of last week’s challenge and I’m sorry for the delay. I have a wonderful time this weekend with the ladies of Wellspring Community Church in Hudsonville, MI. Geneva Shores graciously hosted this weekend of Discovering Strength for the Journey. God met with us in a HUGE way and we are forever grateful for the lives changed and decisions made this weekend.
Once I returned home late Saturday night, I devoted myself to catching up and mostly caring for the needs of my family, especially Taylor, my special needs girlie, for 2 days.
Then today I’m in San Antonio recording a show with Matt and Kendal Hagee. Would you pray for us today? I’ll let you know when it will be airing and how to watch. Thank you in advance for praying!!
By his grace,
Rachel
