Wow, I can hardly believe we are concluding week 3 of the Never Alone Bible reading challenge! Just in case you missed the news, after two weeks of waiting, my laptop arrived back to me with all data intact. The passages this week provided wonderful reminders that God is always with us, even through laptop failure, right? This week in particular, the stories behind the verses we read were incredible reminders of his presence. Let’s check out the Never Alone Bible reading summary week 3. Ready?
Jeremiah 1:1-8
Jeremiah 1:9-19
Just as the Lord was with Jeremiah in today’s #neveralone#biblereading passage, so is he with us today. No task is too big; no responsibility is too large. If God has called you to it, he will see you through it! #onemorestep
Deuteronomy 20:1-4
1. God is with you today. 2. He is FOR you. 3. Identify your true enemy this morning. 4. Realize that God has already won the war and he longs to give you the victory over whatever battle you face today! Take that, Monday. #neveralone#biblereading
Psalm 36:1-12
With him. All month we have been discussing how the Lord is with us through every event and emotion of life. But we have a choice. Do we choose to acknowledge and embrace his presence? In other words: Am I with Him? Meditating on today’s #neveralone #biblereading . Have a terrific Tuesday!
Isaiah 43:1-7
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. The presence of the Lord provides peace, even in the most difficult times. You are redeemed and there is no need to fear. Whatever waters you face today, he is right beside you.#neveralone #biblereading
2 Kings 6:8-18
Today’s #neveralone#biblereading passage is a story I love so much. Elisha prayed for his servant’s eyes to be open so that he could see the armies of heaven surrounding them. Reminds me of how the Lord worked in my heart as I described in #onemorestep “I stopped asking: God, where are you in all this? I started asking: God, will you reveal yourself to me?” In other words, open my eyes to see your work. oh, Jesus, do it again for us today. Help us to see that you are always with us and for us. Amen.
