My mouth will tell of your righteous acts,of your deeds of salvation all the day,for their number is past my knowledge. Psalm 71:15 It's a great way to fall asleep, resting in the knowledge that God is so much bigger than my mind can comprehend. 2 Corinthians 13:1-5

Without the crucifixion, there would be no resurrection. So when you feel discouraged, distressed, and defeated, remember the power of the resurrection is now living in you! He rose from the grave; whatever makes us think that he cannot resurrect our dry hearts or minds! Psalm 66:1-9

What would happen if we just stopped mid track this morning and told our good good Father how awesome he is? What if we took a few moments to praise the Lord for what he's done in our lives? Jesus, I give you praise this morning. Your works are far beyond my comprehension. Your power exceeds my ability to understand. I praise you for this Thursday and your planning of it. Thank you for what you will do because of Who you are!! Anyone have an awesome deed of the Lord to praise him for? #biblereadingplan #biblereading #magnificentpower #godisbiggerjournal

Happy birthday to Taylor! Our special needs girlie is turning 21 on Thursday, the 21st! Ya’ll when doctors tell you that the average lifespan for your daughter’s disease is 10-15 years when she is 4 years old, then birthdays mean A LOT! This girl has defied the odds time and time again and God has graciously given us much life and love to celebrate on her birthday! Hug someone near you. Give an extra smile to a person you know could use it. Laugh with your friends and family because life is short but God is so very gracious and good. #happybirthday #onemorestepbook

Psalm 66:10-20

This morning I finished reading Psalm 66 as today's portion of the #magnificentpower #biblereadingplan . David is declaring the power of his God. The power that saved him from his enemies. The power that carried the nation of Israel in his time. The power that still works in our lives today. He says in the verses before this one posted: If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer." I believe the Lord spoke to my heart this morning about receiving his power. I want to surrender everything anew and make sure there is nothing between me and my God. This is how we experience his #magnificentpower !! Still meditating over these verses this morning. Hope your Friday is fabulous! #biblereading #godisbiggerjournal

  1. Happy belated birthday to Taylor! And thanks for prayer readings, I will think about them this week. Our relationship with God can feel like we’re using 2 way radios. My faith continues to grow with each reading.
