Welcome to the Confident Trust Bible reading summary week 4! Wow- can you believe we have almost completed this month of reading? If you're new here, each month I host a Bible reading challenge and each week we take a peek back to review what we read and learned. I'll be honest, at some points last week in both the reading and the journaling,  I felt that I was gleaning the same principle over and over again. Believing God's plan is best requires believing God loves me and only ever wants the best for me. This is true for you...

If you’re new here, each month I host a Bible reading challenge and each week we take a peek back to review what we read and learned. I’ll be honest, at some points last week in both the reading and the journaling,  I felt that I was gleaning the same principle over and over again. Believing God’s plan is best requires believing God loves me and only ever wants the best for me. This is true for you too! God loves us that much and He is worthy of our trust. Let’s take a look over last week’s Confident Trust Bible reading plan and journal challenge passages, ready?

Isaiah 50:4-11

Rely on. I love that phrase so much. Holding on to it today. You too? #confidenttrustjournal #biblereadingplan

Psalm 91:1-16

God promises to protect those who know Him. He will deliver us. Now our delivery may not come in the manner we anticipate. We want prime now. We want fedex. We want it to show up on our front door, ring the doorbell, and we want to unwrap something beautiful. But his delivery will bring the most good and glory from our lives. So thankful our God is trustworthy this morning! #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan

Jeremiah 17:5-18

Happy is the one who chooses to place all his trust in God. Monday may be here, but there’s no need to fear, your God is near. #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan

Psalm 78:12-29

Just yesterday I was thinking about some of the poor decisions I’ve made in my lifetime and how things could have turned out so badly, except for God’s protection against my own stupidity. You ever been there? This morning the passage reminds me of God’s faithfulness. His love, his mercy, and his grace poured over me time and time again, totally undeserved.

You ever been there? This morning the passage reminds me of God’s faithfulness. His love, his mercy, and his grace poured over me time and time again, totally undeserved. When we feel like God’s forgotten us, it’s usually us who has forgotten Him and His mighty works in our lives. Which moments in your life are immediate stand-outs that confirm his faithfulness to you? Someone needs to hear about it on this terrific Tuesday! #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan #praisehimanyway

Psalm 78:30-42

God led the children of Israel through the Red Sea miracle straight into a wilderness. They weren’t lost. Yes, they were wandering. But God had a purpose for the wilderness. Even in the wilderness, I believe God’s plan is best. Today my eyes are peeled open, looking for fountains of water that are shooting up from the hard places. Spaces of unexpected refreshment because my God is watching over me and always provides for my needs. Especially in the wilderness. #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan

Psalm 78:43-55

I think the psalmist sang these lyrics in a minor key. For the last 3 weeks, I have experienced trouble sleeping. Twice I’ve woke up sweating with stress pain. And this morning I’m convicted strongly. Have I forgotten the power of the almighty God I believe in?

I think the psalmist sang these lyrics in a minor key. For the last 3 weeks, I have experienced trouble sleeping. Twice I’ve woke up sweating with stress pain. And this morning I’m convicted strongly. Have I forgotten the power of the almighty God I believe in? How could I forget His marvelous saving grace and His evident works in my life? He will keep me in perfect peace when I choose to remember that His plan always redeems. #confidenttrustjournal #biblereadingplan

By his grace,
