Welcome to the Certain through Uncertainty Bible Reading Challenge 2021

What if you could walk through a predictable world without a single doubt? Seems impossible, right?

I’m a planner. I like life organized and part of the fun for me? Knowing and anticipating what is coming up next. So the most difficult part of the Christian journey for me is not always knowing the path ahead. Maybe you too?

As our family continues to walk out a life of believing God and trusting His word. especially in this season of my husband’s journey to land employment, I know that I need this refresher on learning to live by faith.

Maybe you haven’t adapted the scout’s motto of “Be Prepared,” but you don’t appreciate not knowing what’s coming around the bend. I feel ya, Friend. The feeling of uncertainty taxes our minds and causes continuous thoughts of “What if?”

What if _________ happens?

What if _________ doesn’t happen?

What if I lose my ___________?

What if I don’t find __________?

What if I need ___________?

Uncertainty can easily lead to worry, fear, and panic, except when we know the Lord! We can rest in God’s promises that while earthly life is uncertain and often unpredictable, God is never-changing. And not only is He never-changing? He has a plan for our lives. We can believe Him in all things!

INTRODUCTION to the Challenge

Each month I host a monthly Bible reading plan and journal challenge to help our community enjoy reading God’s Word together and encourage our hearts to be faithful to Him.  Together, we have completed over 40 Bible reading plans, including both annual and monthly reading challenges. I’ve developed all sorts of strategies to help us read God’s word faithfully and there is nothing like this monthly system we are working through together.

Many readers have requested that I list our monthly resource at the beginning of this announcement post because you already know you want it and don’t need the details. So here you are! This month’s Bible reading plan includes a devotion AND journaling section, available for purchase as a digital download.
