God’s Word is alive and active, amen? I am loving this month’s daily Bible reading challenge focused on praise. It really has inspired me to live the message and not just read it. The Lord answered two prayers requests this morning. Taylor, my special needs daughter, had a rough week,…
Someone close to me experiences terrible nightmares on occasion. The dreams include dreadful accidents of all kinds and when details are relayed about these times, I shudder. I’ve received emails from readers who have written about things that have happened to them and my mind can’t even wrap around all…
When I wrote One More Step, I didn’t have a workspace to call my own. I wrote in coffee shops, on my bed, on the couch, or from the dining room table. It felt like a little here, there and everywhere. Perhaps you can relate. With school starting soon, taking…
Welcome Friends! I’m only one day late on this week’s Bible reading challenge summary instead of three! I hope you had a great week; ours was jammed full of back to school preparation. I am loving the wonderful Scripture praise reminders for each day in this monthly Bible reading plan. Let’s…
As I sit in the ER, with my 16 year old son as he suffers Chronic Pancreatitis, I am reading your book, I have been fighting back the tears. Such a beautiful book. Thank you for writing this, and for inspiring us weary mom’s to just take One More Step!…

As much as I hate to say it, summer is speeding by. For me personally, with the children out of school on summer break, my days require more flexibility. This includes my quiet time with the Lord. I still do my best to start each day with a few verses…
Summer, summer, how it passes so quickly! I’m doing my very best to search and savor beauty this month and like any of you, some times have been easier than others. But learning to see beauty for what it truly is has been the biggest lesson for me this…
