Morning Bible Challenge Readers! I’m posting a bit late today- sorry for the delay! I sure hope you will check in today so we can keep one another encouraged! Just leave a comment saying “I’m still reading” and we’ll keep praying for you and cheering each other on.

Tonight I will be speaking at the Women’s Ministry Relax & Reclaim event at my church. I’m hoping to be able to post the video for you at some point this week and if you could pray for the meeting tonight, I’d appreciate that so much.   God knows the needs. Our focus is on being still and knowing that God is God. Did you know that the names of God help us understand His character? So thankful He never changes! Might I encourage you to take a moment today to be still and know that He is God?

be still

Have a fabulous Friday!

Still reading-Always blessed by your words! Even if I don’t read on a daily basis, I always enjoy going back! Your testimony to God’s goodness and finding hope during trying times has encouraged me so much over the past months when I first found your blog. Blessings to you as you speak! 🙂 I often have your daughter Taylor on my heart and pray for her. 🙂

    1. Amanda, thank you so much for your kind words and for praying for Taylor. She is a sweet joy and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

  3. Rachel, praying for you all this evening and all others who are seeking God. Praying we may all be still and know that He is God! God bless!

Still reading – just started a few weeks ago, but I am so encouraged as I do this. So often there is a link that God makes between the study I am doing, the sermon on Sunday or a devotional I read daily and the daily reading of the Bible. Being still is such a challenge – even when the opportunity presents to be still and I know it is there my nature rebels and looks for something else to take the place of being still in His presence.

Praying for you and the event tonight. Psalm 46:10 is one of my favorite. Early in my walk with Jesus, I bought a plaque with this scripture. It’s still standing bold and beautiful on top of the bookcase … Such s great reminder that He is in control … He had overcome the world. That is our HOPE in Christ!
    Still reading …
Sending a hug with love 🙂
