Genesis 28:13-19

I wonder how many times I have missed the presence of the Lord because I was wrapped up in my own little world, asleep to the depth of relationship that Jesus wanted for and with me. Psalm 23:1-6

Our God is present through the sunshine and the storms of life. His presence is never dependent on something as unpredictable as the weather. He created it; he can change it with one command. The same holds true with the hurricanes and tornados of life. Even in the ultimate human storm, death itself, our God is present. He comforts and guides. Thanking him this morning that I am never alone. What a good, good God!
