Who Am I at Relevant?

Just a couple days ago, I was given the privilege of adding my name to the Kindred link for the Relevant Conference.  To say that it is a miracle that I’m here is an understatement. God works in mysterious ways.  Here is what my bio looks like on the link:

Rachel Wojnarowski, a small town country girl by origin, converted to a suburban mother of seven by way of life happening and God working. She and her husband, Matt, enjoy caring for their busy family of 7 children,  which spans ages 3 months to 20 years. Rachel leads community ladies’ Bible studies in central Ohio and serves as an event planner and speaker for special needs parenting groups. She loves to inspire others through her blog, My Mess…His Success, by sharing lessons God reveals to her through daily interactions in her bustling household. By God’s grace, she is a reader, writer, speaker and dreamer. Her life advice is to trust in the Lord and HIS strength and knowledge.

All of this info is true. But interestingly enough, probably the most prominent lesson for me here on a snowy (What’s up with that?) October day is not who am I, but remembering who am I in Christ.

Through various speakers, the underwoven theme of #Relevant11 is claiming our identity in Christ and being bold enough to share that with others through blogging, writing, and whatever avenue God directs.

So who am I?

A woman called to community and faith, as taught by Joy Forney.

A woman called to tell my story to the glory of my heavenly Father as emphasized by Shelley Noonan.

A woman created for honesty and grace, as shared by Emily Freeman and Holley Gerth.

Ephesians 1:6

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

I’m sure there is more to come, but for now, I leave you with the question:

Who are you?

  1. Oh, I get the whole miracle of even getting to go!! I got my ticket the Sunday before! I am so glad that the Lord opened those doors for you and I pray His work in your heart is far reaching, even beyond what you can see or even expect right now.

  2. Hi Rachel,
Loved this post! Understanding who I am in Christ has been and continues to be one of the most impacting revelations of my life. I love that you are writing about it.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. I would love to share thoughts with you on blogging. I left my email on the forum post. Maybe I am being paranoid, but someone told me that spammers scour your site for emails addresses so I figured that it was safer to put it there. I have enough junk mail as it is! ha ha!

I look forward to connecting with you!

    Blessings,
    Jamie

  3. Visiting from the blog bash! Nice to “meet” you. 🙂

    Great encouragement!
