It’s a Tommy Nelson day! Hooray! For those of you who’ve been around here much, you know that announcement means a great book is about to be reviewed AND we have one up for giveaway.
Storm by Evan Angler is the third book in the Swipe Series. My 11 year old loves this series and has really enjoyed his daily summer reading time with this particular book. I personally am not a huge fan of dystopian fiction, but this series is very well-written and enjoyable, even for a non-fan like me.
The author relates the story in a very adventurous, exciting manner and the End Times are highlighted with a strong Biblical foundation. While the series is labelled to target ages 8-11, I believe a more appropriate age bracket for this series is 10-13. I’m just not sure that most 8 year old children would comprehend the detail of the story or the magnitude of the plot. That said, take a look at the fabulous trailer:
I also thought you would enjoy seeing a preview of the book:
And the author has a very creative website at EvanAngler.com. (But if anyone asks, I didn’t send you there. ;))
So who wants to win? I thought you might! This would make a great gift for a youth leader or teen leader.
Just follow the Rafflecopter and I’ll see you tomorrow!
PS: If you want to buy the book, you can pick it up Storm (Swipe Series)“>here.

I think they like the adventure aspect
this looks like something my 18 and 14 yo would like to read
My preteens have never read one. But I would guess a couple of them would like it.
