Welcome to the Soul Secure Bible Reading plan week 3 summary! We are 3 weeks into this month’s Bible reading challenge and I have been so personally encouraged by your sweet testimonies regarding the Scripture reading. For those of you who are here for the first time, each month I host a daily Bible reading challenge and each week, we glance back at the Bible reading plan and journal. We review the verses I highlighted in the daily reading and so today, let’s read over the verses we highlighted from last week’s Bible reading plan. Ready?
Psalm 16:1-8

You are not a number to your Creator. You see, we are a people infatuated with numbers. We have countdowns and stats and calendars and so why wouldn’t God need to worry about numbers? Because he is the God who knows your name and you know His. He delivers the one who holds fast to his love. He promises to deliver and protect you. You’ve been worrying about the next paycheck, job, sale or opportunity. You’ve wished that plan A didn’t keep you awake at night and that plan B would present itself. You know God’s promises and beat yourself up that you can’t remember them in times of crisis. But you’ve forgotten that the God of promises is the God of purpose.
