Little Book of Prayers Book Review

This week in our Whimsical Wednesday linkup, one of the ladies wrote a story of how one of her children prayed for a younger sibling. God answered her prayer and I could easily relate because we’ve experienced that in our family as well. I tell the story in my book, The Sensational Scent of Prayer. Sweet joy!

Anyhoo, today is a Tommy Nelson day and we have the most precious book, Precious Moments Little Book of Prayers, to review. The Little Book of Prayers book is a beautiful BRAND NEW book that released yesterday.

If you’ve been around here much, you know that I believe in prayer from the depths of my soul. This sweet Little Book of Prayers contains various prayers for different times, such as prayers of praise, of thanks, for mealtimes, for bedtime, and more. My two youngest girlies love this little book and I’m eager for my 4 year old to begin learning to read so she can read it all by herself. Although it is pretty fun to hear her “read” it to her little sister now.

(This is the same child who, after her sister was scolded for doing something mean, says to me: “I suppose I’m not getting into trouble today.” wow. That’s all I can say.) 

So with a creative and persuasive mind of that nature, you can picture the prayers she is “reading” to her sister.

The Little Book of Prayers is a padded board book perfect for little hands to hold. The verses in the book are from the International Children’s Bible.
