Welcome to the Genuine Faith Bible Reading Challenge Summary Week 4! I have enjoyed this reading plan so very much. Each day the passages have reminded me that believing God is so much more than knowing he is God; it’s acting as though I remember it continually! You’ll find the daily postings from last week below. Enjoy!

Matthew 25:14-23

Sometimes I think we wish for the break, long for a wider reach or desire the next big thing when it all starts with being faithful to the little things. Last week a precious lady told me she really wants to write a book. I asked her if she keeps a journal or writes a blog. No. I then asked if she has any method to practice writing and she said no. Hmmmm. Where do you think she should begin? Be faithful to whatever task God has called you to today. And then do it again tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day. We faithfully work; he faithfully completes. That's the act of genuine faith!Sometimes I think we wish for the break, long for a wider reach or desire the next big thing when it all starts with being faithful to the little things. Luke 7:1-10

The faith of the man in Luke 7:1-10 amazed Jesus! This leader loved his servant dearly and wanted to see him healed . Take a few moments to read our#genuinefaith #biblereading today! That's the kind of faith I want to have- one that would amaze Jesus.

Acts. 3:11-16

Someone you know needs healing. Emotional healing in Jesus' name. Physical healing in Jesus' name. Mental healing in Jesus' name. Spiritual healing in Jesus' name. In our #genuinefaith#biblereading passage today, Peter preaches "You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead." Let's believe that he can resurrect the emotional dead, the physical dead, the mental dead, the spiritual dead! Because he is the author of life! Now that's #genuinefaith ! Acts 3:11-16

Romans 1:1-7

In Romans 1:1-7, Paul introduces himself to the church at Rome. He explains why he is writing this letter to them, which is the same reason he became an apostle of Jesus- obedience of faith. The NLT explains that Paul's desire was to not only believe, but to also obey, bringing glory to the name of Jesus. #genuinefaith is a high calling! I often think of faith as believing, but do I think of faith as obedience as well?#biblereading

I spent some time this morning with a friend who is an incredible artist. So I felt some intimidation lurking when I started to finish this page tonight. But#biblejournaling is a reflection of the faith journey. We are all in different places but Jesus loves us individually. We are to bring about the obedience of faith among the nations on behalf of His name.#bibleartjournaling #noteworthytruth#illustratedfaith #genuinefaith

Romans 1:9-17

From faith for faith- this is how the power of the gospel is shared - from one believing heart to another. Our faith is guarded when our hearts are guarded. Isn't it incredible that God chose us as humans to live out the gospel? That is #genuinefaith. #biblereading Romans 1:9-17

  1. Veronica,

You are not by yourself. This past year and half has been one big roller coaster. My faith has been tested over and over. I know that God is good and he is working in my life and my families life. I enjoy Rachel’s bible readings so much because they have drawn me closer to God which make me rely totally on him. I start everyday in prayer and bible study which really helps. I know that God has a plan and his timing is perfect because his word tells me that. I have put my trust in him. I will pray for you to find peace. God Bless you.

  2. Verónica Ramos-García says:

I’ve been going through situations in my life that have left me with only one choice: to have faith. It is easier said than done! Sometimes, I stumble in my faith and then I have to ask the Lord to help my unbelief. Today has been especially hard for me and I have gone from total faith to doubt and then back, with my mind constantly battling and my heart asking the Lord to give me more faith. I don’t want to be disobedient but, oh Lord! Sometimes it is hard.
At least I have the assurance that He is always faithful, even when I stumble. This reading plan has been a lifesaver in a way. I have written down verses and prayers based on them to help me along my journey.
