Hey there! One more Fall Family project on the horizon for you! 🙂 Last week I introduced an Outdoor Bible Verse Scavenger Hunt and it has been super fun. I’m hoping to get more photos of your adventures, so please feel free to send those to me!
While you’re out on the scavenger hunt, or while you are enjoying outdoor play time, pick up a few small leaves for this new fall family tree art project.
1. Lay your leaves out on a piece of plain paper. Doesn’t matter what kind- see, we had scribbles on this piece. 😉
2. If you want to tape the leaves down, you can. We didn’t and just laid our art paper directly over the leaves, then colored. You can use all different colors like we did OR you could make them all the same, then do layered coloring.
3. The final project will look similar to this one, full of fall family tree fun. You can assign a leaf to each family member, perhaps even the leaf they chose during the outdoor play time, and write their names on them.
4. To get your started, I have a printable tree trunk with the Bible verse, Josh 24:15b, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Just click HERE or on the photo and the PDF will open.
Enjoy this fall family tree art project with your friends, family, Sunday School class, etc.!
Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow!
