Well, Friends, we’re already into the September Bible reading challenge and the holiday weekend threw me off just a bit in timing. But I believe these little wrap-up posts are important and help us glance back over the Bible readings and our time with God with fresh eyes and collective hearts. So let’s take a look at the Everything Beautiful Bible reading challenge summary week 4!
Psalm 1:1-6
This morning’s #biblereadingplan encouraged me to remember that my commitment to being planted in the word of God fosters a wonderful beauty, with fruit in season. Much to meditate on and journal today! Have a terrific Tuesday! #everythingbeautiful #biblereading
Ephesians 2:4-10
For we are his. Oh that’s more than enough! Our God has redeemed us. He has bought back his sons and daughters because we are his. But he doesn’t stop there. He molds and crafts and continually works in and through us because he loves us. He loves us so much that he longs to fulfill our need to be desired and used for his kingdom. He provides relationship and walks with us on the journey, every step of the way. What a wonderful Wednesday word to be reminded of his beautiful, wondrous works!! #everythingbeautiful #biblereadingplan #biblereading
Y’all I’m so pumped about the projects I’m working on right now!! In the words of my 8th grader, September Bible reading challenge is going to be lit! ?? Can I encourage you for a second? God longs to provide fulfillment to you. Those deep soul-cravings to be more and do more for him? Those are from him! And the awesome thing is that you can serve right where you are. You can start now. With what you have. So answer the question: Which of your words are blocking the beauty of God’s Word? #everythingbeautiful #biblereading #biblereadingplan
Psalm 27:1-6
The beauty of the Lord. Wow- David was intentional about his goals! I am pondering what would happen if I followed his pattern. Jesus, reveal your beauty to me today. May the era of my heart be tuned to see all that you have for me. #everythingbeautiful #biblereadingplan #biblereading
1 Samuel 16:1-7
Samuel was looking for the one who seemed to fit the part. Kingly-looking. Tall. Broad shoulders. Sharp. You know, the guy who looks like he has his act together. But God was looking deeper. He was looking for character. Someone who had been faithfully tending to seemingly-menial tasks that were actual anything but menial. Someone who loved the ones he cared for and ferociously fought for them. Someone who had learned to use what he had rather than wish for what he didn’t. And that is what made David everything beautiful. Where are you looking for beauty on this fabulous Friday? #everythingbeautiful #biblereadingplan #biblereading
Matthew 23:27-39
The sermon didn’t hold encouragement in today’s #biblereadingplan passage. Jesus didn’t pull any punches and flat out told the religious leaders of the day “You are an act. You look cleaned up, but your hearts are filthy.” And more. Jesus spoke pointedly about true beauty and called it out for what it was not. A passage for personal reflection today! Have a super Saturday! #everythingbeautiful #biblereading
Psalm 72:12-18
Need the reminder? Read our #everythingbeautiful #biblereading today! “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.” Have a superb Sunday! #biblereadingplan
Job 12:7-13
As long as you are breathing, life has meaning. #onemorestepbook God woke you up this morning and he has a plan for you. Today. Don’t miss out by being distracted. Who’s ready for a Monday of Knowing God makes #everythingbeautiful in his time? #biblereadingplan #biblereading
Psalm 145:1-9
While I was reading today’s passage, this song immediately came to mind. Fills my heart with so much joy! When I Think about the Lord,
How He saved me, how He raised me,
How He filled me, with the Holy Ghost.
How He healed me, to the uttermost.
When I Think about the Lord,
How He picked me up and turned me around,
How He placed my feet on solid ground.
It makes me wanna shout,
Hallelujah,
Thank you JESUS,
LORD, your worthy, of all the glory, and all the honor,
And all the praise…
Psalm 119:12-18
There is so much that I can be blinded to when I’m not in tune with the Holy Spirit. Open my eyes, Lord. A prayer to echo for a wonderful Wednesday! #everythingbeautiful #biblereadingplan #biblereading
There are a whole lot of words out in the world. And it seems to be getting more and more complicated with opinions floating around everywhere. But when I feel the haze start to make me question, I know where to go. If my eyes are opened to God’s Word, then I can align my decisions to his truth. The Truth. So thankful for Psalm 119 today! #everythingbeautiful #biblereadingplan #biblereading
Isaiah 60:1-9
The chapter title for today’s #everythingbeautiful #biblereadingplan is “the future glory of Israel.” The prophet was explaining what God had in store for his people. And he feels the same way about you and me. You are beautiful because you are His! Have a thriving Thursday! #biblereading
