Today I’m counting my blessings after spending the last week preparing for and speaking at the AWANA Vantage Conference. What an incredible conference it was and I enjoyed chatting with some familiar faces and meeting lots of new folks as well! I thought you might enjoy a few of these highlights before we look over last week’s Confident Trust Bible reading. So I’ve included a few photos and resources at the end of this post.
But first, the Confident Trust Bible reading plan and journal!! Last Thursday was such a whirlwind day that I can hardly explain how crazy it all was. Between a flight cancellation, rental car cancellation, and fevered child who needed picked up from school, things were messed up! But the daily exercise from this journal is helping me to remember to trust God in ALL things. I wound up driving to Chicago and back, but the Lord truly blessed me all the way there and back. 1. I got to eat an entire pack of peanut butter M&M’s all by myself without sharing any. 2. I worshiped the Lord for 12 hours worth of driving. It was awesome! I had church all by myself and loved it.
So here we go with this week’s summary. Ready?
Psalm 20:1-9
Today I will rest in God’s promises, understanding he is sovereign and I can trust him with …. What goes in the blank, Friend? #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan #biblereading#biblejournaling
Psalm 62:1-12
Day 2 of the #confidenttrustjournal and this was the first song played when I turned on to worship with my Taylor girl this morning during breakfast:
Letting go of every single dream
I lay each one down at your feet
Every moment of my wandering
Never changes what you see
I try to win this war
I confess, my hands are weary, I need your rest
Mighty warrior, king of the fight
No matter what I face you’re by my side
When you don’t move the mountains
I’m needing you to move
When you don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When you don’t give the answers
As I cry out to you
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in you
Truth is you know what tomorrow brings
There’s not a day ahead you have not seen
So let all things be my life and breath
I want what you want Lord and nothing less
When you don’t move the mountains
I’m needing you to move
When you don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When you don’t give the answers
As I cry out to you
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in you
I will trust in you
You are my strength and comfort
You are my steady hand
You are my firm foudation
The rock on which I stand
Your ways are always higher
You plans are always good
There’s not a place where I’ll go
You’ve not already stood
When you don’t move the mountains
I’m needing you to move
When you don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When you don’t give the answers
As I cry out to you
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in you
I will trust in you
I will trust in you
I will trust in you

Isaiah 26:1-13
We read today’s #confidenttrustjournal #biblereading passage in last month’s #perfectpeacejournal also. But I felt it important to recognize that peace will not come without first trusting. He who holds the seas in place will not let go of my heart. Make Monday great with that thought! #biblereading Day 3 Isaiah 26:1-13
Psalm 37:1-13
So it’s a typical Tuesday and you’ve mapped out your plan for the day. I’ve been challenged by the #confidenttrustjournal #biblereadingplan to lay it all at the feet of Jesus before I ever begin. Instead of a typical Tuesday, wouldn’t it be awesome to have a trusting Tuesday? ?? #biblereading Go for it!
Psalm 37:14-26
Find acceptance, delight and pleasure on God’s path for you; he will secure your steps, strengthen your faith, and establish your direction. Thank you, Lord, for being the God of trustworthiness!#biblereadingplan#biblereading #confidenttrustjournal
The One who orchestrates the atmosphere can be trusted to give me a breath of fresh air. The God who maintains wind and waves can be trusted to make me brave. What is it you know you need to trust him with tonight? He is worthy!! #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan #biblereading
Psalm 37:27-40
He is my stronghold. When all of life seems unsteady and unpredictable, my God never changes. He is worthy of my trust! He is worthy of your trust! #confidenttrustjournal #biblereadingplan#biblereading
John 14:1-10
Believing is the beginning of trusting. Everyone starts to believe but then we move to trusting God by placing our faith in him, knowing he gives us eternal salvation AND everyday solutions! Happy Friday!! #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan #biblereading
I believe the Confident Trust Bible Reading plan and journal might be my favorite so far!! So good.
Happy continued journaling!

Rachel,
As always, you are wonderful! You are an amazing genuine spirit filled encouragement to me and so many others. I appreciate your insights and always pointing us back to the Word of God. You don’t let obstacles stop you, you learn how to go through them with grace and wisdom and then teach us how to do the same! Thank you!
Trust is so hard for me as I’ve been through a lot. But the one constant has been God even when I don’t understand why I’m going through these particular trials. God is good!
