Welcome to the Confident Trust Bible reading plan and journal summary week 3! Here we are at the weekly roundtable review of the monthly Bible reading challenge. Does trusting God seem easy for the “big issues” and more difficult in the details of life? This week’s passages reinforced God’s promises that He is IN the details! If this is your first time visiting, welcome! Each month I host a Bible reading challenge and each week we take a look back at the previous week of reading to help us stay focused and retain what we’ve been learning. Check out the last week of reading!
Psalm 118:14-29
I’ve experienced the biggest challenges of my life in the parenting realm. Without the strength of the Lord, I just don’t know how I would have ever walked in the roles of being a at-one-time single mom, a special needs mom from the beginning, Mom to 7, a stepmom, and a mother-in-law. I honestly can’t imagine where I’d be or the many more mistakes I would have made along the journey if it weren’t for God’s strength. Lifting my hands in praise this morning! You too? #confidenttrustjournal #biblereadingplan#praisehimanyway
Proverbs 30:1-9
Psalm 5:1-12
Each day, we have a choice to allow worry and doubt to reign in our minds or trust God with everything. Every detail. Every circumstance. Every situation. We can see God’s love through His protection! He is worthy of our trust! #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan
Psalm 86:1-9
Feeling doubtful? Finding it hard to trust God with a new season of work or parenting or illness? One of the best ways to rekindle your trust in God is to reflect on his attributes! Today’s #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan of Psalm 86 prompts us do just that. Have a terrific Tuesday remembering He is who He says He is!
Psalm 86:10-17
His love and faithfulness proves He is worthy of our trust! His mercy and grace is available for every day, every moment, including today, right now. #confidenttrustjournal #biblereadingplan
Luke 12:24-31
This morning the birds are chirping outside my window as I read the Scripture. As if they are echoing the Gospel writer, “Yes, God cares for us; He cares for you.” His attention to detail can encourage our hearts to trust Him more if we take time to notice it. Have a Thursday noticing your God is in the details! #confidenttrustjournal#biblereadingplan
Proverbs 3:1-8
Two verses I remind myself of daily. Maybe I’m a natural born questioner; I don’t know. But the Lord has straightened my path so many times that I can look back on His work in my life and know that He is worthy of my trust. He is all-powerful and I’m praising Him for it this morning. What has God done in your life that helps you trust Him more? Reflect on His powerful works and make it a fab Friday! #biblereadingplan#confidenttrustjournal
That wraps up week 3; let’s continue each day in God’s Word this week!
By his grace,
Rachel
