One of being confident in what Christ has done for us and one of knowing that we are worthy to do the work of God because of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Ok, I’ll hush with the preaching and let’s move on to what we learned this week. Here’s the Confident In Christ Bible Reading Challenge Summary Week 4! Ready?

and he will sustain you… #confidentinhim#biblereading
2 Chronicles 32:1-8
It’s easy to lose our confidence when we look at the skills of other people. I don’t know what battles you are facing. But I know Who you bring to battle. No worries. You have Him! Go forward in confidence!#confidentinhim #biblereading#preachingtomyself
Psalm 20:1-7
Or you might say cars. Or houses. Or bank accounts. Or the next President. Or a weight loss program. Or makeover. Where are you placing your trust? Because where you place your trust is where your confidence will come from.#confidentinhim #biblereading
Psalm 34:15-22
When you feel your confidence slipping this Monday morning, because the enemy seems too great, then remember the redemptive power of our God. He uses the weak to reveal his glory!#confidentinhim #biblereading

His day may not be the one you have circled on the calendar. Your goal deadline may not be his. When you struggle to have confidence in God’s timing, grab on to this phrase and don’t let it go. Galatians 2:15-21
Today I die once again. To the calls of “that’s mine!” To the thoughts of “me,me,me.” To the desires of “I want.” I lay it all down again, afresh on this new day and say “Jesus, it is all yours. Take me, mold me, use me.” Join me? #confidenceinhim#biblereading
Ephesians 4:1-6

Have a great weekend! I’d love to know what you’ve been learning!
Rachel
I so needed Psalm 55 last Friday. I was curled up on the couch watching a supposedly funny movie, but I was overcome with sadness. My heart hurting, my chest was literally aching. As I sat there with tears rolling down my cheeks, I reached for my bible…and read that days designated reading. It was such a comfort! As I read the words ‘as for me, I will call upon God, and The Lord shall save me; evening and morning and at noon, I will pray and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice’ I felt a deep calm settle over me. Thank you Rachel for allowing God to work through you, bless you and your online ministry!
‘It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me’ … made me cry.
The human condition is So difficult .. I honestly don’t know how people can cope/ survive/ experience joy and comfort .. if they don’t have Christ in their lives.
Sometimes my only strength is God in me Loving. It’s an awesome feeling that something in me is so much stronger than I am … I am often surprised at the steadfast nature of Love .. the upright ness of the cross .. rooted and enduring .. that speaks out, shows Love, defends, confronts dishonesty etc .. These qualities come from God in me . I should take more confidence from that knowledge.
me too. Bless you.
Wow, Rachel, I needed this! We are going through a transitional time in our church, looking for a pastor and now a music director…. I have been asked to fill in as the music director for now…. I also teach Sunday School, sing on the worship team, in choir, and work full time…I’m doing this afraid, but with confidence in Christ. Thank you for the encouragement and I’m thankful for the Holy Spirit using your study here to give me direction and a renewed confidence and reminder that God doesn’t call the equipped, but He equips the called.
