Morning Bible Challenge Readers! I’m so sorry for the late posting today. I hope you are still keeping up with the reading and even if you are not on schedule, the point of reading together and setting the goal is to keep ourselves accountable to stay in the Word. Won’t you leave a comment to encourage someone else today?
Believe it or not, there are some days I don’t have many words. So today I simply want to give you a reminder that no matter your situation, circumstance or problem, give it to the Lord. I’ve mentioned how to take your burdens to Jesus and leave them there- but I’ll be honest, I’ve struggled with it myself this week. So a simple Friday reminder to myself. Perhaps you could use it also.
Cast your burden on the LORD,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved. Ps. 55:22
Have a great day!
Rachel, continued prayers for Taylor and the Wojo family! A special prayer going up for you that the Lord bless you today with His comfort, peace and joy! You are His messenger to so many! May we all bring God’s message to you as well! Just read Zoe Elmore’s post which ended with “He has loved you with an everlasting love…” Hope this lifts your spirits! God bless!
Beautiful, Mary! Blessings to you!
We are in the process of moving from CA to TX. It has been very overwhelming as all our extended family is here in CA, but I know God has great things waiting for us in Texas. I had gotten VERY behind in my reading & by the grace of God I had a day by myself today while the boys were at school & my husband was at work. I used today to get myself completely caught up on my reading. Boy, was it a BLESSING! My soul was so empty & heavy with thoughts of our impending move & God’s words just poured out to me as I highlighted away. I finally closed my Bible knowing that God knows this move it going to be hard which is why He promises me that I’m not doing it alone. Like the Israelites, He’s going to led my family each step of the way & continue to guide us & be with us once we arrive. Thank you again Rachel for starting this amazing journey that we are all on together! Praying for you & that you’ll feel God’s mighty hands taking your burdens off your shoulders & carrying them away 🙂
WOW~ That is HUGE! I’m a few days behind and am hoping that over the next two weeks I can really catch up and stay on target for the remainder of the year!
Still current on reading daily! I am learning that the discipline it takes to keep up with things, not everyone has. It has to be something you learn and want to be able to do. Kind of like exercising. Don’t necessarily like it and do not necessarily want to do it some mornings. But if I want to keep my blood sugar numbers under control and try to lose my belly, I need to exercise and keep at it. This can apply in so many different things, but that is where I can apply it best. Keep up the GOOD work!!
so very true! Bless you, Heather!
