It’s Monday! How many of you have children starting school this week? This is our second week of school, so we’re settling into a bit of a routine here. I’m not such a fan of the school year, honestly. I love summer so much. But like it or not, here we are and it’s probably a good thing.
I do love that I am able to read more consistently and frequently with school in session, in spite of the crazy timing of all the pickup and dropoff times for my crew. I’m still adjusting my Bible reading plan a bit. One day last week I read through the rest of the book of Luke, so I’m not exactly on schedule.
Thanks for praying for my Tarah girl and her broken arm last week. We’re over the trauma and she is beginning to assert her independence again. 😉
How are you doing with the reading? Do you have a moment to check in and let us know how your quiet time is going?
See you tomorrow!
Rachel
We homeschool all year. It’s usually so hot it is scary to go outside but God gave us a beautiful summer this year. Now the temps have skyrocketed and it is not much fun to get out in it.
I read through the Bible chronologically every year and have been for the past 4-5 years. I use Iva May’s chronological Bible Teaching website for her daily blog with questions that make you go over what you have read and pray about understanding. http://www.chronologicalbibleteaching.com/about-iva/
That’s wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing!
I”‘m behind a day or two! Wishing life would slow down just a bit.
So glad I found this site! My children are college grads!! I was a teacher and LOVE the first day of school! Please pray for me as my new beginning this year includes homelessness!! I have a job but no where to live! I need a miracle!
Prayers going up for you, Chris!!
We start school today. Wish I was starting teaching. (Prayer request)
Still on target and I think we have a morning schedule that will work and allow my 8th grader to take a little more responsibility. 🙂
Have a great week!!
