bible reading challenge day 155

Today I want to introduce you to a brand new FREE Bible study resource, my ebook:

Outside the Zone: Stepping Outside Our Comfort Zones to be Used of God

“I LOVE this ebook! Rachel’s words reached down into my soul and inspired me. This ebook is both Biblical and practical and met me right where I’m at. I hope that women everywhere will read this and see that God has great plans for them Outside the Zone.”~Courtney Joseph, WomenLivingWell.org

outside the zone two

God uses example after example of people in the Bible who had to step outside of their normal everyday capacities and step up to the calling He had for their lives. This ebook outlines five of those very people- people who said “Who? Me?”

But I’m sure you’ve never said that before. Ahem.

I know I have never said that. (cough)

These five people- they had all kinds of issues.

Physical disabilities.

Rough family backgrounds.

Labels like “too old for the job” and “not good-looking enough.”

You might be familiar with their names: David, Moses, Gideon, Noah and Sarah. Yes, they were some Old Testament misfits.

The one thing they had in common? They all said “Yes” to God.

Oh, it took a little convincing on God’s part. But they came around.

To be honest, it took a little convincing on God’s part for me to share this study with you.

But I can tell you from the moment you read the introduction, if the book speaks to your heart, God does that. He gives me the awesome privilege of saying “Yes” to what He asks and then I get to tell you that if you like the book, give Him glory for working in your life.

So that brings me to the next point. I know that some people will think I’m really crazy to give this book/Bible study away. Without even asking you to subscribe to the blog.

What?!

You don’t give away freebies of this “size” without asking for some kind of commitment in return. But I guess I’m a little old-fashioned in that regard. Because I believe if you like the book, you will subscribe to the blog or the mailing list or like the Facebook page simply because you want to.

And I enjoy giving away free resources- just feels right.

So I’ll stop here and you  can go get a Bible study about stepping outside your comfy self and letting God do what He wants in your life. Click HERE to download the free .pdf or click on the graphic above.

OH and if you use a Kindle- I’ve formatted this book to fit well on a Kindle. So you can email the .pdf file to your Kindle email after you download the file. Here are instructions on how to do that if you would like to do so.

And when you get to the end of the study, be sure to let me know if you have a story about a time when you took a leap of faith and did what God impressed on your heart- especially if it was outside your comfort zone.

I intend to share those stories right here on the blog in a few weeks and I’d love for you to be a part of the series!

Do you think the topic of the study is cliche? Is it too late to be asking that question?

  4. Sounds like a great bible study, stepping out of my comfort zone sums me up, moving from UK to America because God said go, just like Abraham moving from all he knew to a new land. Thats me if God says go just be obedient, so thanks Rachel for this bible study.

  7. This looks amazing Rachel, and I can’t wait to dig in! I don’t have to wait till the end to share a leap of faith, though… I can just point to my book that’s coming out this month and say “it was completely of God”! He led me to write and study, and worked out the publication details (and there were a lot of them, believe me), and is bringing it all together in such a way that could only be of Him! All glory to God!

  8. Thanks so much Rachel, I just downloaded the study and am going to use it with “my” teen girls in Sunday School. I appreciate that it’s Kindle friendly and for the link to the tutorial on transferring files. I pray God blesses you and your family for your devotion to Him through your ministry.

    1. Awesome, Abby! Let me know how it goes. Would love your feedback for any improvements.
