Today my nerdy side comes out.
I know. Your first thought was “I thought that was yesterday. No, wait…everyday.”
Yes, I know. Geekdom is mine and I claim it proudly, along with the stack of books beside my bed that await my eager eyes.
But no, really, today I get to tell you all about Tommy Nelson’s Nerdy Ned Series:
Totally Awesome, Super-Cool Bible Stories, as drawn by Nerdy Ned.
This book is a brand-new product, designed for ages 6-10, that my 10 year old son was super-pumped about as soon as it came out of the box. I’ve had to ask him for the book several times- he didn’t want to give it up long enough for me to blog about it! I started thumbing through it and he already had drawn in the doodle pages that occur every few pages in the book. So cool!
This Bible storybook features stories as worded in the International Children’s Bible. Nerdy Ned serves as the commentator and Ned does a fabulous job of drawing in kid participation and application. One of my biggest goals for my children as they grow is keeping them engaged and having fun while learning the Bible. This book has done such a great job of doing just that for my Michael.
So I thought if I like it so much…and Michael enjoys it so much…that you might just want to win one for your son or grandson or Sunday School student or neighbor. 🙂 And then with Christmas approaching, wouldn’t it be even more fun to win this, thereby decreasing your out-of-pocket costs? (See? Geek at heart.)
Just follow the rafflecopter and we’ll announce the winner Wednesday!
Disclosure: I received this book from the publisher in exchange for this book review. All opinions are my own. This site may be compensated if a purchase is made.
I am a newbie at Christianity. I am seeking all the help I can get. I also want to share my faith with my granddaughter.
