Here we are, Friends! We've arrived on the last day of the With Thanks Bible reading challenge. What a great month of Bible reading and quiet time we have experienced throughout the month of November! I truly enjoy devotionals and all kinds of books, but there is no book like God's Word, amen?

Here we are, Friends! We’ve arrived on the last day of the With Thanks Bible reading challenge. What a great month of Bible reading and quiet time we have experienced throughout the month of November! I truly enjoy devotionals and all kinds of books, but there is no book like God’s Word, amen? Last week the holiday threw me off track a bit with my work and I failed to post a week 3 summary. Review is so important to helping us remember what we’ve learned though! Let’s check out the With Thanks Bible reading challenge final summary for the monthly reading challenge.

Psalm 147:1-7

For it is “fitting.” That’s it! There is never a time when it is not fitting to praise the Lord! What a beautiful nugget to savor today from God’s Word. Savor your Saturday!

Colossians 4:1-6

Because you just never know what God is up to! I love this prayer strategy. While you are waiting on God for answers? Praise him and thank him. There is just no telling what our praise and thanks can do for our hearts in a waiting season! Have a super Sunday!

Psalm 75:1-7

For his name is near. So very thankful he is near to us. No matter where you are this morning, no matter what you’ve done, no matter what mess you’re in the middle of, no matter which job you have to work, or which child is sick, or which parent is aging speedily... he is near. You don’t even have to be able to say his name out loud. One word- Jesus. One thought- Jesus, help me. So thankful for his nearness this Monday morning! #withthanks #withthanksjournal#gratitudejournal #biblereadingplan#biblereading

Psalm 30:1-12

What a beautiful passage of Scripture for today’s #withthanksjournal#biblereadingplan ! We can sing praise and give thanks to the Lord for joy comes in the morning! Have a terrific Tuesday meditating on this truth! #withthanks #biblereading#hellomornings #gratitudejournal#goodmorninggirls

Psalm 116:14-19

This morning I read our #withthanksjournal #biblereadingplan and then I re-read it again from the beginning of Psalm 116. God’s Word speaks so personally to my soul. The testimony of David, the psalmist, is mine as well: “For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling; I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.”

1 Chronicles 16:27-34

May this day be a day of hearts turned to the Creator of all good gifts!

Psalm 26:1-7

Because the truth is: Every day is Thanksgiving. #withthanksjournal#biblereadingplan #withthanks#biblereadingplan

Psalm 28:1-7

I can only echo the psalmist today: “Blessed be the LORD! For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.” May the melody flow throughout this day for both you and me! #withthanksjournal#withthanks #biblereadingplan #biblereading

Hebrews 12:22-29

The depth of gratitude is often determined by the comprehension of details. How grateful I am today for the eternal kingdom of God The Father! A kingdom that cannot be shaken and will never be moved. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-17

Many of us have read or heard this verse more than once. And sometimes familiarity with a Scripture can cause us to pass over it lightly. I’m determined to let it sink in afresh on this Monday. Many of us have read or heard this verse more than once. And sometimes familiarity with a Scripture can cause us to pass over it lightly. I’m determined to let it sink in afresh on this Monday. The Thanksgiving holiday is over and our seasonal focus has shifted; but what would it mean to maintain a gratitude attitude every day of the year? Mulling this over on Monday; hope you’ll meditate on it too! #withthanksjournal #withthanks#biblereading #biblereadingplan

Jeremiah 33:1-11

"What is a thank offering?” My 6 year old asks this morning. It’s a thank-you gift to God. It can be words or service. Notice how we’ve seen this particular verse in three different references throughout the plan this month? These words of song were a common praise offering to the Lord, displaying the hearts of his people. I want to join that band today! You too?? Psalm 106:1-5

Psalm 28:1-7

Each day In my morning prayers I ask him for strength, grace and mercy. And each day he provides. It’s crazy awesome to have such a personal, loving God!! Our #withthanksjournal #biblereadingplan is coming to a close today, but hopefully our hearts continue on the path of praise. For he is worthy!!

Looking forward to starting #thelightjournal #biblereadingplan tomorrow! If you didn’t hear, my ministry partner, Mindy, and I are hosting an online small group to accompany the monthly Bible reading challenge. Check out the #linkinprofile for details. (Yes, today’s Scripture is the same as the 25th. I knew this at the beginning but this passage is so powerful I decided the misprint was Providence! Thanks for embracing this month’s plan in spite of imperfections!)

2 Corinthians 9:6-15

I can always give thanks for grace.

This year, I’ve created the Bible reading plans and journals with a 31 day plan so they can be completed  for any month of the year. This month was a beautiful month spent savoring Scriptures on thanksgiving and praise. I pray that you enjoyed each moment of your quiet time and that the plan and the journal met your needs perfectly. The journals really keep me accountable to myself to spend time in the Word; I hope they do the same for you!

Join us for the December Bible reading challenge! Check out the Light Bible reading plan if you haven’t already!

By his grace,

Rachel
