True story. 
Sunday evening, after a full day, I ran into a local restaurant to pick up some dinner for Matt and myself. I was tired, and stood in a long line of people to await my turn to order. Ok, I confess. It was Chipotle. Love that rice. Anyhoo….
I was wearing my awesome Shine tee from my friend, Sandi, at The Olive Tee Company. The tee is off black and so very soft. Really love it. And as I’m standing there with my usual, half-pleasant ordering tone, I realized:
This shirt says “Shine for the all the world to see.”
Who am I reflecting? If Jesus was standing here, I think he’d be ever so kind to this cashier. I’m pretty sure I should smile at her. Thank her and tell her to have a great day.
Not just check out, move on and not even look her in the eye.
Engage with her. Leave her wondering who I am.
Because isn’t that the point of faith in a nutshell?
That they will know we are Christians by our love?

I like the Hope shirt. My mom is a breast cancer and thyroid cancer survivor. She knew exactly who to put her hope in during her treatment – and always. I want to share that hope with others and “hope” that the shirt would spark a conversation with someone who needs to hear about Him.
