Psalm 42:8-11

His love is with us continually. Directing by day and comforting by night. Isn't it interesting that love directs? He doesn't leave us to figure things out on our own. Oh, no. When we remain close to his love, we can hear his still small voice guiding us. He is good. His love is boundless! #truelove #biblereading

1 John 4:7-13

He loved so we could live. He lives so we can live and love. #truelove#biblereading

He loved so we could live. He lives so we can live and love.

I John 4:14-20

He loved so we could live. He lives so we can live and love. We loved because he first loved us.

Zephaniah 3:17-20

His love is both in the quiet and the loud. Isn't that interesting to ponder? To be able to see his love in all his work is my goal today. Make it yours too? What a beautiful reminder of his #TrueLove to begin a new week!

John 13:34&35

We tend to complicate it- this way of acting out our faith. Jesus didn't say anything about one's style, appearance, or agenda. He didn't give a list- only love. Jesus, may we love those who cross our paths this day and may that love reflect you fully. Love with Christ-like love.

Psalm 136:14-26

When I was a child and accepted Christ as my Savior, my faith was simple and pure. But as I grew up, the burdens of this world brought me to a place of forgetting just how much God loves me. It took years before I allowed the beauty of God’s love sink into my soul. God loves you so very much! Not only did he give his life for you, but he redeems and restores the broken. “that Christ bath regarded my helpless estate and hath shed his own blood for my soul. it is well with my soul.” #TrueLove #biblereading #onemorestep

What did you learn through the reading this week? I’d love to read about it today!

Happy Friday! Sorry it’s late in the day that  I’m getting this posted. We began the day with early this morning with Taylor having a seizure; however, we are thankful, ever so thankful, that she had none for the last 5 months.

By his grace,

Rachel

True Love Week 1

"Sometimes the Hope of the world wraps his arms around us and asks about our day. and we say, "It was okay."But we don't return his affection or attention; we avoid eye contact and move on to the next thing. One overwhelming attribute of God's love is that it never fails. HE NEVER GIVES UP ON US! His love never runs out on me or you. You see, God wants our love, he doesn't force it. He gives us the privilege to choose...." - One More Step

  3. Praying for you and your family, especially little Taylor! Thank you so much for taking the time to post these bible study summaries even when there is so much going on in your family life, we are certainly blessed!

The scripture that I have been repeating and repeating and repeating to myself this week is
1 Corinthians 16:14 ‘let all that you do be done with love’.

Words to live by! Imagine if everything done by everybody was done with love! The world would be the most amazing place! I am trying to remember this commandment in all that I do, it is hard work, but I can see changes in my life and my family life already!

    Another is
    Romans 8:38-39
‘For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’

How comforting is that? We are never, ever, EVER separated from the love of God, the love of Jesus – no matter what we have done, no matter how badly we screw up, no matter what has been done to us, Jesus is there, loving us!

My main prayer focus this week has been asking God for His help to show love the way Jesus did/does – unconditionally, un judgementally, and in everything He does, all of the time.
