Princess Prayers Every Night…

Each night when the Woj tribe gets tucked into bed, we say prayers. Matt and I pray individually for and with each child. Even on the rare occasions when either of us are away, our children want their prayers, even if it’s over the phone.

Interestingly enough, Tristina, our 7 yr. old, lies down beside Tarah, our 2 yr. old, and prays with her each night.

And tonight it hit me:

Tristina prayed Tarah into the world. No wonder she prays with her each night.

If you’d like to read about how Tristina prayed for a baby sister, that story has been written right here…

Tonight though, I don’t have a lot of words. Frankly, I’m wondering if I’ve been as faithful as Tristina to pray OVER my blessings after I’ve received them. Not just be thankful and move on.

Truly nurture the blessings.

Continue in faithfulness to care for them with all the passion I exhibited when I requested them.

So I challenge you, this Thanksgiving week, to do the same.

Anyone else relate?
