Psalm 18:46-50

Yes, David closed out this beautiful psalm declaring the greatness of God. But the Lord still lives, amen? His great victories come in all forms and I've seen them. Victory over depression. Victory over recession. Victory over trying to make an impression. Victory over earthly possessions. Victory over the worst obsessions. Victory over guilt through confession. He still lives and yes, he still gives great victories. Now let's live so that we can claim the great victories he offers!! #onemorestep

Psalm 28:1-9

This passage is a favorite of mine. Verse 7:

The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.

Psalm 46:1-6

the perfect Monday morning revelation awaits. You don't have to walk alone. You are not alone! So whether the work seems overwhelming or perhaps unappreciated, you've got help. And more than that, your Helper is stronger than you've ever dreamed of being. Let Him be your strength today! #onemorestep

It’s morning and it’s Monday! But the perfect Monday morning revelation awaits. You don’t have to walk alone. You are not alone! So whether the work seems overwhelming or perhaps unappreciated, you’ve got help. And more than that, your Helper is stronger than you’ve ever dreamed of being. Let Him be your strength today!

Psalm 46:7-11

Sitting still often requires more strength than moving forward. To hold oneself back from barging on is more difficult than to stop and wait for God. Strength can look like being still.

Psalm 142:1-7

I woke up with a weak spirit this morning. And I was battling the negative whispers that there was too much on the agenda today and no way I could get moving the right direction. But I have learned to RUN to God's word when discouragement strikes and this morning's #onemorestep #biblereadingwas exactly what God had for me. I don't have to begin with all the answers; I only need to follow his guidance. Because HE knows the way! #onemorestep

Psalm 30:1-5

Sometimes the grief of watching our Taylor slowly deteriorating catches me in the night. And I weep the tears that no one sees but God. I know you've wept with only God watching. But we have his promises and this one from the songs of David declares it loud and true. Joy comes in the morning!! One day Taylor will no longer suffer and on that glorious morning, joy is all she will know. No more crying. No more pain. Every tear will be wiped away because joy has come. Just think about that for a midweek minute and be empowered to take #onemorestep on the journey of life. Psalm 30:1-5 for the #biblereadingtoday!

Psalm 30:6-12

He is there. With you. With me. And the strength he provides is unlike any other. Last time I checked, the only thing that can move a mountain is faith. When you stand in his strength? Nothing can move you unless God does it. You are strong. #onemorestep

  2. Another amazing week of studying the bible. I like the way Eliza shares which verse speakes to her each day.
Because of this daily reading, and I read each days passage over and over, I notice that I talk to God more and so many truth of his word is made clear to me. I have peace in my heart reading these words and I say to my self Oh what needless pain we bear!.
Thanks Racheal., for the insights. God work you are doing . Many blessings.

  3. Rachel, are Thurs nights recorded, I am not always available, like last night cuz I forgot and would like to go back and review if possible. If not I will catch what I can

    1. Hi Frankie! Yes, let me get back to you on the links!

  4. Thanks for another great week of bible study! I really enjoyed delving into each days study and finding Gods word, and letting it wash over me and become clearer and clearer to me.
This week the verses that stood out for me are
    Day 6
    Psalm 18:47

    Day 7
    Psalm 28:1 & Psalm 28:3 & Psalm 28:7

    Day 8
    Psalm 46:1-2, 5-6

    Day 9
Psalm 46:10 I found this really calming, and found peace settle over my soul when I read ‘be still, and know that I am God’.
    My favourite verse this week!

    Day 10
    Psalm 142:3

    Day 11
Psalm 30:3, 5 especially 30:3, I did my bible study of an evening that day, and during the day I felt strongly convicted to pray, so I went to a quiet place and had my first ‘real’ talk with Jesus, just poured out my heart and soul, confessed to past sins, asked forgiveness, and gave thanks. Then in the evening I read the words ‘thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit’ and those words just hit home for me.

Thou hast brought up my soul from the grave – that was exactly how I felt that day, the power of these words just took my breath away as I gave thanks for His forgiveness.

    Day 12
    Psalm 30:10 & 12

I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Thankyou Rachel for sharing your bible study resources and insights, I look forward to reading what others took from this weeks study.

    1. Your words “the power of these words just took my breath away as I gave thanks for His forgiveness” brought tears to my eyes. God’s Word is so personal to me and one of my deepest desires is to see others crave and enjoy the Bible. You are a beautiful blessing!!!
