Welcome to the No Fear Bible Reading Challenge Week 4 Summary! If you’re visiting for the first time, each week we glance back at the Scripture passages from the previous week for the monthly Bible reading challenge. This month as we’ve read and reflected on what God’s Word says about taking courage and not being afraid, I’ve been reminded time and time that our God goes before us, he is with us and he will never leave us. Let’s check out last week’s Bible reading summaries, ready?
Are circumstances making you feel “shook up” before the day even has a chance to begin? Today’s #nofearjournal#biblereadingplan reminds us to settle down because we are no longer under the Old Testament standard of law, but Jesus came for us and we rest in the salvation of the New Testament! While the law placed fear in the hearts of God’s people, grace through the blood of Jesus places love in our hearts. Any time you feel shaken? The love of Christ will sift out what will not last for eternity. There is no need to fear the temporary; heaven is going to be more incredible than anything we can possibly imagine— a kingdom where nothing can ever be moved and we will never feel shook up! Enjoy your Monday meditating on today’s #biblereading ! Day 23
The Lord sustained me. Again and again, he has never failed me and never will. When I was afraid, he sustained me. When the enemy towered over me in size, the Lord sustained me. When I lost my way, he stayed with me and kept me going. No matter how many people are against you in your faith journey, the Lord will always be for you. Take Tuesday with #nofear ! #biblereadingplan #biblereading#nofearjournal
Confidence says “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Asking the Lord to saturate my soul with confidence in him. Asking the same for you! Have a wonderful Wednesday. #nofearjournal #nofear #biblereading #biblereadingplan
Fear is sneaky. After all God has done for you, fear tries to make you forget that you are held in the arms of the Almighty God. How has he protected you in the past? When did he guard you so obviously that you knew it could only be him? When fear strikes, remember his mighty work in the past and reflect on his goodness in the moment. You have no reason to fear; your God is near! Have a thriving Thursday! #nofearjournal #nofear #biblereadingplan #biblereading
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. Psalm 143:9 Fear has no place in your heart this Friday, for you are directed by the Almighty Father who loves nothing more than when you lift your soul to him. Have a wonderful day!! #biblereadingplan #biblereading #nofearjournal #nofear
He is with you no matter where you’ve been, no matter where you are, and no matter where you are going. Whether your walk includes divorce, disease, disaster, discouragement, or death, you do not need to fear. He is with you. The Leader of still waters and Restorer of your soul is right beside you, surrounding you with his protection. Enjoy his presence today! #nofearjournal #biblereading #biblereadingplan #nofear
If you read today’s #nofearjournal#biblereadingplan , then you know that it is all about understanding the difference between fearing the Lord out of respect and honor and fearing the Lord due to unconfessed sin. So many times, the reason we fear is because we are in a waiting mode. The enemy uses the wait to make us fear and doubt. Remembering that God has not changed, even when we wait, is the key to trusting him fully, without fear. Meditating on this today! Hope you’re having a blessed Sunday! #nofear
When we are rooted firmly, trusting in the Lord? We do not fear when the heat comes. The question becomes: how do we grow deep roots, so that we won’t wilt in the tough times? Stay as close as we can to the Lord in our walk with him, growing each day deeper and deeper. Strong roots don’t grow overnight. So if you are fighting fear? Deepen those roots! Have a marvelous Monday! #nofearjournal #nofear#biblereadingplan #biblereading Day 30
