Welcome to the Magnificent Power Bible reading challenge week 4 summary! In July, we focused for a month on the fact that God is bigger than anything we are facing. Normally, I post a weekly summary of the passages each week of the monthly Bible reading challenge, but folks, a lot of life has been happening and I fell behind! Yikes. Thankfully, God is bigger than my tardiness and he works through the passages regardless of who is reading when, amen? Let's wrap up the July Bible reading challenge, shall we?

Jeremiah 10:10-16

Isaiah 45:1-7

Dear Father, On a typical Tuesday, when a seasonal change feels near, help me remember that You are nearer. That You are both the door opener and the closer. That with every step I take into broken places, You level my footing. Help me, God, to fully focus on Your strength and not my own, for there are no chains You cannot break.

There are no bars that can hold You back. Help me to see that in the darkness of circumstances, You have treasures for me. Give me eyes to see the richness of Your love in places where I feel hidden. I praise You for not just knowing my name, but calling me by my name. For You named me before any human laid eyes on me. Thank You for being the God of all. For being in control when things seem out of control. May my heart of clay be conformed to You, the Potter’s hands, on this ordinary day of the week. Amen. #godisbiggerjournal #biblereadingplan

Isaiah 45:8-14

If you feel tempted to feel alone, spinning out of control, or without strength, then know that the Creator has never left his creation. Every detail is in His Power and He works all things for good. #godisbiggerjournal#biblereadingplan

Isaiah 45:20-25

Dear Father, it’s a new day and I praise you for it. My head is bowed before you and my heart is humbled. It is only through your strength that I can be empowered to do your work. It is only through your spirit that I can live for you....

Dear Father, it’s a new day and I praise you for it. My head is bowed before you and my heart is humbled. It is only through your strength that I can be empowered to do your work. It is only through your spirit that I can live for you. May my roots be filled with your love and when the enemy thwarts my intentions, bring me back to your way. May my leaves be filled with the nourishment from your word. Help me to recognize that you can do more than I can ever ask or think. Help me trust you for that today. I give you all the glory, honor and praise. For obstacles are really opportunities for growth. And growth leads to fruit. And fruit reveals your glory. Amen. #godisbiggerjournal#biblereadingplan

Ephesians 3:7-13

I’ve never been one for big speeches. I’ve always enjoyed messages from the heart the most. So when I read Paul’s words in our #godisbiggerjournal#biblereadingplan this morning, I affirmed him. Yes, Father, today must be a day of your strength and power on display. Help me to do the tasks you’ve called me to do. Thank you for being all-powerful and unlimited in knowledge and wisdom. Impart it to me on this Monday and make it marvelous. Amen.

Thank you so much for joining in for the July Bible reading challenge! I’m sorry that I was a bit delayed (2 weeks! ugh) in posting the summaries. But if you are a part of the monthly Bible reading challenge Facebook group, then you have a great way of staying connected daily and joining in as people share all they are learning through the daily reading plan.

By his grace,

Rachel
