Ephesians 1:18-23

Father, may Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation impart the knowledge of your power into my walk with You today. Infuse my thoughts with full awareness of Your strength. Amen. #biblereadingplan #godisbiggerjournal

It’s easy to feel like you just can’t do this Christian life thing. That you can never be perfect. That circumstances are stacked against you and living out your faith is simply too hard. The world has gone too far for you or me to be of help. But we think those thoughts because we fail to remember this one thing. The resurrection power that brought Jesus out of death valley still reigns today!!! Hallelujah! And that power LIVEs in us! Is this moment the one where you realize that God is bigger than anything that has happened to you, anything going on right now, and anything the future holds? Father, may Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation impart the knowledge of your power into my walk with You today. Infuse my thoughts with full awareness of Your strength. Amen. #biblereadingplan #godisbiggerjournal

1 Timothy 6:12-19

Remember when God hid Moses behind a rock so the light of His glory and presence wouldn’t slay him? Wow. Father, may we praise you this Monday for you alone are immortal. #biblereadingplan#godisbiggerjournal

Psalm 71:9-16

I feel like the Lord is challenging me with this verse especially this morning. Am I living a life of praise or pessimism? Am I choosing to know God is at work because He has been since the beginning of time? Make it a meditating kind of Monday!#biblereadingplan #godisbiggerjournal

He has done great things. We often sing it. We sometimes say it. But how well have we let it sink into our hearts? Make it a wonderful Wednesday. #biblereadingplan#godisbiggerjournal

2 Corinthians 13:1-5

Dear Father, I’m struggling to see Your work in the details today. The circumstances are not what I planned and they are not what I like. But help me, Lord, to recognize your power even through my inabilities. Though I am weak and cannot see what You are orchestrating, help me to take comfort in Your plan. You are never surprised at situations and circumstances. May I rest in the knowledge of your presence and power today. Amen. #godisbiggerjournal #biblereadingplan

Matthew 19:16-26

It looks like nothing can help. You have no hope for change to occur. Maybe it’s a problem of addiction or pain or both. While I don’t know whether your situation is disappointment or depression or disease or divorce, healing is possible. You are not alone! The God of the universe who holds all the power of life, who spoke the universe into existence, is the God of redemption. So whatever it is that you must remember God is bigger than today, don’t forget that NOTHING—not one thing!— is impossible with God!! #godisbiggerjournal#biblereadingplan

I don’t want to overlook the bridge over troubled water. And even more than simply giving thanks, I long for my heart to offer the sacrifice of praise to God, believing that He is faithful and can do all things impossible, especially in circumstances beyond my control. Amen? #praisehimanyway#preachingtomyownheart#godisbiggerjournal

It’s so easy to focus on the storm clouds when they seem to overshadow everything else in life. They block some of the light. They bring rain showers. I’ll be honest, I struggle to see the silver lining in clouds. Maybe you do too. But I’m not going to keep my perspective so narrowed that I miss the luscious green grass carpet I’m walking on.

Psalm 66:1-9

Our God is awesome and worthy of praise today! I can’t count all the ways he has worked in my life but I know He is awesome and worthy of all the glory. Father, thank you for preserving life and providing hope. You are ever securing our steps and for this I praise you this morning. #biblereadingplan #godisbiggerjournal#praisehimanyway

Psalm 66:10-20

Where would I be without His love? Pondering the incredible power of God’s love this morning. Happy Sunday! #godisbiggerjournal #biblereadingplan

By his grace,

Rachel
