It’s FRIDAY! Woohoo- how’s the Bible Reading Challenge going? Glad to see all your smiling faces, ready to give a hearty “YES! I did it” or perhaps a “I’m determined to keep going.”
To help keep us encouraged to check in, today we have a giveaway up from a new friend, Faith Family Fashion. Nicki wants to raise a strong, God-honoring Christian family and her jewelry is creative and beautiful. She can be reached on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. I’m so thrilled that she is participating in our Bible Reading Challenge and wanted to host this giveaway to keep everyone inspired to stay accountable and keep reading God’s Word.
I’ve left the giveaway open through tomorrow so that you can invite a friend to join us in the Bible Reading challenge and give them the opportunity to enter the giveaway. So be sure to share!
The link-up is open for bloggers to post their favorite from the week.
Readers, just follow the Rafflecopter and have a fabulous weekend!

I DID IT! I’m excited to be reading along with everyone! Thank you Rachel for the awesome encouragement throughout the week! Have a great weekend!
I read through the Bible last year for the first time. I’m so excited to be reading it through again this year with all of you! Thankfully I’m right on track!
I’ve done it everyday! I’m ashamed to say this is probably the first time ever that I have read my Bible 10 days in a row
But I am proud of myself for doing it so far and also proud to say that my husband and I are also on Day 10 of the 365 day devotional we are doing this year too!
I did it again this week! Determined to keep it up!!
I’m determined to stick with it even though I’m behind!! Playing catch-up this weekend!!
I got alittle behind this wk, because we were in the process of relocating. I ended up doing several days all at once just to get caught up. hoping for better results this wk!!!
Hi! I just started yesterday and am playing catch up. I’ve read these verses hundreds of times and yet I’m learning new things this time around. It’s great!
the awesome thing about God’s Word- always learning something new.
Keep going! We’re in this together.
I’ve done pretty good so far, got behind once but just doubled up for the day! So glad you are doing this challenge!
so much fun to be in a group and see how everyone is doing.
Yes I have read everyday, love being in Gods word .
YAY!
me too Friend.
I not up to date on my Bible reading, but I am determined to get caught up. Looking forward to my extended time with the Lord later today.
I have been reading, actually got caught up last night.
way to go!
I did it! Thank you for inspiring me to take on this challenge. My One Word (www.myoneword.org) for 2013 is DISCIPLINED and your blog and inspiring emails are really helping me to follow through. Thanks for all you do!
My privilege! So blessed to have you alongside in this journey!
I loooveee this! So beautiful and represents the biggest gift any of us have ever received.
I’ve been reading every night and am on track. I love reading Gods word.
me too Michel!!
I have read every day, but I am behind. I am determined to keep reading and get caught up. I’ve noticed things in the Word that I have not noticed before. My husband and my son have talked about a couple of things I have not noticed before this reading.
Awesome Joanne. Just keep going. Little at a time.
I did it! I too am loving this time in the Word! Thank-you everyone for keeping on track! If it had not been for this accountability I do not think I would have stayed up with the reading!
YAY! Let’s keep going.
Day by day.
Another week of exciting reading…I was brought up short one day when I got into all the geneaology and thought, Oh no, not that! I just don’t like to read all the begats! Anyway, I regrouped and said, “Well it is part of the reading, so I better read it.” I was rewarded as i read and was able to see and remember the thread that brought it all together. As I go along now I can see Abraham’s thread and where he fit in in the line of things much better. If it is in the Bible it is there for a reason, lets not skip over now what will make a lot of sense later.
I had to make this my week 1 because last week was a bust, and I knew if I tried to catch up, I’d just get bogged down. So, I’ve dine week 1 and I’m loving it!!
I am currently reading the bible through! I started at Jan2 (had to read two days in one!) I love starting my day this way!!!
I’m all caught up (well, still have to do today’s reading), and I sent your link to the ladies from my MOPS table yesterday. It’s never too late to start!
Using a different reading plan but am loving every minute of my time.
I have not read through the Bible completely before. I have stayed on track with the reading so far! My husband has even requested that I read it out loud so that he can hear it also!! Thank you
Rosey I have to say that is amazing! So happy his light is shinning through you and your husband wants to hear the word. Blessings.
It is a definite difference from my previous way of reading the Bible through! Plan to keep with it!!
I am loving this challenge. I’m reading most of it (ok all of it so far) for the first time and it is amazing! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings
Cher xx
Yes! Still reading every day and loving it!
This is my first time to try and read the bible in a year with an electronic device! For Christmas my husband bought us an IPad. I am really enjoying using how to use it. I love the bible apps. I do not feel I am 100% in the swing of things but I know that I am getting the hang of it. I hope the winner enjoys her bracelet as well! I am very blessed to be apart of this bible reading challenge and its fun to have online support! Blessings, Nikki
I see my writing mistakes. Sorry ladies! That is what I get for sneaking in a little blog time with my two year old jumping on me! LOL! Have a great day.
I read in the morning before work! Better than my morning cup of coffee!
Always enjoy your posts.
It has been an amazing journey…and it has only just begun….looking forwarded to the rest of the trip!
me too Donna!
I have truly enjoyed the Bible reading challenge so far. I have even downloaded a Bible app so I can do the readings without having my Bible with me.
way to go!!
That’s awesome, Christa!
I did it! Loving this challenge!
Sooo I am very behind but I really do plan on catching up…would’ve never had the motivation without all you other ladies doing it alongside me! What a blessing for Rachel to put this together for us all! God bless!!
I did it! Thank you so much for the accountability.
So excited I saw this on Pinterest! I think the challenge is a great idea, and the support seems like wonderful guidance. Thank you!!

I did it! I get up just a little earlier to read and it has made such a difference in my day!
I did it! I love having you ladies and my boys to keep me on track! I’ve been reading to them at bedtime, and it amazes me some of the things they notice and questions they ask.
love your site…thanks for the giveaway…
I missed a day this week, but I got caught up!
We actually just finished reading the Bible in a year! It was such a great experience!
Just finished my reading for the week. Boy, is God at work in me!! What an answer to prayer this has been. I have been feeling disconnected & that feeling has been replaced with feeling completely connected
Have a blessed weekend Rachel!
I did it!!! Ezra was a hard one to begin but I learned a valuable lesson in the end!! So proud of myself to keep it going, thanks for the encouragement!
I’m starting today!
I did it. Trying to do the Pininterest if I can. Love that bracelet and love your blog. Blessings!
I am enjoying reading with everyone. I am really loving that I am getting a different perspective on the scriptures than when I read them before. Have a great weekend!!!!
I just found your blog today!! I am going to catch up on the Bible reading and continue with the challenge. How exciting!!
YAY! Glad to have you.
I did it and I’m determined to keep going!
I DID IT!!!!!
Despite a sick little girl this week (chronic lung and airway issues, so it’s always exhausting), I stayed with it! Rachel, you are so encouraging and the little “family” that’s reading together is so encouraging. I found renewed strength each day this week as I read the assigned scriptures.
WOOHOO!
I have tried to do this several times. Always make it through the same parts of the Bible. Starting a little slower this year by doing a little less every day, but reading every day. I hope that this helps me not to feel defeated and give up
I have been able to keep up this week and I am really enjoying this challenge!
YAY !
I did it!! I really like this plan.
I enjoyed it a lot the other times I used it. I think this is my 3rd time using this plan.
beautiful bracelet
I am working on reading through the Bible this year. I have read it through before, but not all in one year.
Glad to hear it, Julie!
I missed a couple of days but have caught up! This is the first time ill read my bible through al the way
Keeping up,loving it and taking time to really think about what I’m reading. I have found that discussing it with my husband adds to understanding . I’m glad to be a part of this.
Awesome, Betty! I’ve found that talking to anyone coming in and out of our busy house about what I’m reading is great too.
